Comida Artesanal Kúrcuma — Restaurant in Alajuela

Horrible :) went in, asked if they speak English. They said no and literally ignored me for a while lol. In about 15 mins they sent someone who "speaks" English. Their menue was in Spanish and I asked for help since I'm vegan and don't want to eat any meat. Well he gave me misleading recommendations lol. I eat healthy and I got a burger and french fries 😆😆😆I mean it's my fault but they have different counties flags hanging all over the place lol. Really?! I couldn't eat that greasy, fried and unhealthy food and had to leave it. I asked for wi fi and they said it was down) I went to pay for the food I didn't even eat and the guy was on the phone totally ignoring me for 7 mins until another person came and accepted payment. lol it's a joke.my first bad experience in Costa Rica. So if u want healthy food and some customer service...

The cook the best...the waitress and waiter the worse!!! ZERO people skills. It's a shame that such tasty food and experience get so diminished by how you get treated in that restaurant, yesterday I order my drinks but never got them, I told the owner at the cashier but seemed like he did not care...update the owner said that after New year's they will have new staff...today I was gonna go and saw the same people...it's a shame...good thing the Best burger joint in Alajuela its next to it...ABGB!!! I had an awesome Burger with great service!!!! I will give them a try again cuz I really like the food,...

Siempre había querido visitar este lugar pero con los precios que ofrecen en Uber Eats, preferí venir personalmente. De primera entrada el lugar no se sabe a qué tipo de restaurante apunta, ya que tienen una amalgama de "chunches" que encontraron en una venta de garaje y las pusieron por todo lado en un estilo desordenado, es una mezcla de pub irlandés decoraciones aztecas y luces de cantina. Pero en realidad no sería un problema si no estuviera tan sucio: comida en el piso, decoraciones polvorientas y mesas pegajosas.

El siguiente punto y creo que el más importante fue el servicio, principalmente (o al menos los que me atendieron) la que tomó la orden y el mesero pelirrojo están con un semblante de arrogancia y parece que hacen el favor de atender a los comensales, sin saludar o dar las gracias. Además de la forma despreciativa con que me atendieron, observé 2 ejemplos más. El primero es que llegó el distribuidor de licores y justo enfrente mío comenzaron a vacilar y a hablar mal de otros clientes usando palabras obcenas. El segundo, una pareja de extranjeros que tenían dudas de las comidas y como no hablaban español, el mesero les explicaba con desprecio y sin al menos una sonrisa de la forma más deficiente lo que él medio sabía.

Finalmente, la comida: se tardaron 25 minutos en sacar una orden de Fish and Chips, la orden (para llevar) no traía servilletas, las papas podían dorarse un poco más ya que estaban suaves y el pescado más bien estaba pasado. Las salsas estaban muy...
