I had to drop off a family member at the airport early so I looked for 24 hour place online as it was to early to eat anywhere else and the sign outside says in huge letters “24 hours” but was only open at 6am due to restrictions closed 10pm-6am (which makes so much sense cause viruses infect more people at night apparently)🤪. So I waited till they open only to be turned away as they only allow “fully vaccinated” guests there. 😠 So sad as there was NO one in there and so they now have lost my business. So sad to see companies giving in to this mandate craziness especially when it is not mandatory as they are still allowed to operate at 50% capacity (which most restaurants are doing in the area)!! Making this choice to segregate against the non-vaccinated will have a big impact and patrons and businesses need to stand up. If I could give a negative 5 star value I would in an affect that the Admin of Denny's CR pay attention to the consequences to the unfortunate choice they have made. Sadly last time I guess I will ever eat a Denny’s or at least here...

We ate at Denny’s San José, which is conveniently attached to the Holiday Inn, after our flight was canceled and we received airline vouchers. Probably the best hotel restaurant we’ve eaten at!

We ordered the Slam Pancake Breakfast and the Slam Waffle — both were delicious with huge portions that definitely filled us up. We also tried the Brisket Skillet. It was heavy on the cheese, very light on the brisket, and definitely not heavy on the mac as expected. It also didn’t look much like the picture on the menu, but it still tasted decent.

Be prepared — prices here are very expensive compared to typical Costa Rican meals. In fact, this was the most expensive meal we had during our entire week in Costa Rica, but the airline vouchers helped cover some of the cost.

Service was very slow, so allow some extra time, but if you’re staying at the Holiday Inn or stuck near the airport, Denny’s is a convenient, satisfying option with classic American...

This place is shady with questionable operations. We ended up here due to flight cancelation and Aeromexico putting us in the adjacent Holiday Inn, from where we received breakfast and lunch vouchers for Denny's. We received a very limited menu for breakfast, and no prices were displayed. Despite our disappointment, we didn't complain. On our way out, we saw other guests eating regular breakfast items. When we returned for lunch, again, we were presented with a very limited menu, featuring snacks. Our voucher was for $27 per person. We stated that the items on the menu were not lunch items and definitely not worth $27. We received a regular menu and ordered food for $45.46 total. Next, we were presented with a bill to pay a difference of $18. We disputed it and were told that there was no difference to be paid. We were there for over an hour and watched all patrons with vouchers being treated the same way. Looks like a...

Meals are not so good. Iberia send us here after canceling our flight. For the dîner half of the menu is indisponible. The same for the breakfast. Plates are big enough. Now I know that the Dennys is not for me.
