Went couple of times just to see if my hunch was correct. I don’t know if it is mistake in the cashier or was done kinda on purpose. I ordered breakfast (omelette with 3 ingredients) it is 3150 if I recall correctly. But once you pay they add in the bill “additional 3” for extra 1050, so like you had 6 ingredients. Once I pointed her attention to it, first she tried to explain that it is correct, so I asked for the menu and showed her, so she refunded me the money. I told her yesterday was same thing, and she replied “I don’t know what was yesterday” (she was the same cashier/manager who gave me the bill). Also, they put the prices, but add service and vat on top (very American) though I have no doubt the service doesn’t go to the waitstaff.
The food is overall ok (I just had the omelette), the coffee is pretty bland. The service is quite inattentive. I sat at the table and it had many food crumbs on it, they just put the napkins and cutlery on top… I asked for water, got a response but never received the water.
I think the place has a lot of potential, but not much competition in the area, so they don’t really try...
Read moreThis is special place is more than amazing. Everything they have has a special taste. You must try the Salmon Croissant, Chocolate Eclair and a mini chocolate tartar. Cozy place with a great environment, perfecto for costa rican weather. I most say, even-though is place you must go, their parking is a little crappy as it is shared with 3 other business. They should buy the entire lot and expand their business as its demands provides such expansion. Somethings there is a line of cars backing up on the road just to park. They have a guy helping with parking but it is still not enough. Sometimes you even have to get up from the table to move your case so another customer can leave the parking. But, no matter how difficult sometimes its to park, you must seat here for coffee, lunch or afternoon snack. You wont regret your time here as all their menu is delicious and its pastries are...
Read moreI have not yet had the pleasure to try out their coffee or their savory dishes however I have bought pastries twice over. They are decadent and does give you a warm and fuzzy feeling as you devour them! The sweetness is just right so you don't get an immediate sugar rush😂. The staff are warm and welcoming. A place that I definitely plan to go to again to sit down and have a nice cuppa, some sandwiches and of course the desserts. The french vibe is very apparent in this little joint. It also gets pretty busy on a Sunday morning. I think actually that is the case pretty much every morning! I do recommend this place to anyone looking to hang out with some good food....
