Update: I had its Chifrijo today and it was pretty good at c7500, which was c1500 higher than a few months ago. I guess everything got more expensive in our little village. The chicharrón was cut into tiny pieces, which made chewing easier. Both the beans and the chicharrón were flavorful.
This is a typical soda, but it’s only a minute walk from our place, so we do eat here a lot. Gregorio’s is only about 150 yards from a fabulous beach, Playa Avellanas so it is very convenient for a day of beach activities. Lola’s restaurant is only a short distance north up the beach and their prices are higher, so I gave the extra star to Gregorio’s. The food was average. Read moreSo this jewel is two minutes from the beach so I managed to sample most of the menu and it's difficult to say which was my favorite 1 chicken yucca pie, 2 two patacon baskets with stewed chicken, two stewed beef and two guacamole, 3 fish fillet.
