It's okay, expensive for what you get, but everything in Avellanas is expensive, service is average to poor, the restaurant is nice but filled with cats walking around consider this if you are allergic, there is not enough parking space, overall a mediocre experience, had a reservation and the table was not reserved, read so many reviews about the best italian food, I don't think so. Really disappointed about this place to be honest, would rather eat at another place next time. It's about 60usd for 2 lasagnas and 2 beers. Got the feeling that it you are a local they don't care about you. Ticos stay away! We stayed in Playa Avellanas, Costa Rica for a week, and one of the highlights of our trip was dining at Il Rustico. The food was absolutely incredible—every dish from appetizers to desserts was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Soooo good!! Los Pargos really doesn’t have much around in terms of restaurants, it’s very rural. But even if there were a ton of options, I’d still want to come here every night. The cooks are literally Italian, so you know you’re getting authentic Italian food. We unfortunately discovered it on the last night of our stay, and wished we went sooner so we could go multiple times!!
