The Burger Bar — Restaurant in City of Zagreb

I came here with a friend, but I was very disappointed that out burgers were served rare, not even medium. We left the food, the lady serving us was not friendly and said that we need to ask if we want a burger well done. She didn't offer to give us another burger or anything even after we commented that we were a bit disappointed and she added a snarky remark in Croatian "I have no time to tell every table that the burgers are served medium rare, just read the menu better next time." So much for that crappy service. I've visited most,if not all the burger places/restaurants in Zagreb, and this one would have been "ok" if it was well done and if the lady wasn't rude (they over-did it with the salt and it was too greasy, beef was semi-ok but nothing great). I hope they read these comments and change...

Not much to look at, pretty much a wayside burger bar, but neat, very apparently extremely tidy (with open kitchen, so not much hidden), and in my experience the best burger i have ever had. The bun is beyond good, and the rest follows its example. An absolute must if you're around. Location-wise not all that attractive, bit out of the way if you're not exactly around the fair, and nothing special (landmarks, museums, etc) around.

Staff was cool, courteous, helpful and professional

Very tasty burgers. This is me and my son’s favorite burger place in Zagreb. Nice service with servers who can speak English. Burgers can be cooked medium or well done. Don’t be discouraged by having “bar” in the name, families can eat here. There are more things than burgers on offer. My son and I would recommend the bacon deluxe! You could eat inside or outside. Inside has AC in the summer months. They also have music on the radio in English from the past 40 years. They have kid drinks and several cold beers to choose from. Parking is easily available.
