Tvornica pljeskavica TPK — Restaurant in City of Zagreb

In the southern part of Zagreb is located "Cvjetno naselje", a settlement of urban villas and greenery designed in 1939. (architect Mr. Vlado Antolić - source Wikipedia). In addition to the headquarters of Croatian Radio and Television and the famous bowling alley - Boćarski dom, in one of the larger residential buildings there is also "Tvornica Pljeskavica TPK". Unmissable gourmet spot in Zagreb for lovers of good barbecue and traditional local cuisine. Burgers, stuffed with cheese, large kebabs, stuffed with cheese and many other delicious delicacies are served by fast and very helpful staff. The space is simple on two levels and with a terrace. Ćevapi without good, greasy, soft buns is like going to a shopping mall without its own parking place. Buns (lepinje) in here are horribly dry and hard as rock. Not sure if I will ever come back here regardless its great overall rating. Fries were also old, hard and barely edible. On the other hand, "gurmanski ćevapi" was excellent. When the waiter asked me how was my meal, I told him literally what I said from above and he completely ignored me. My 3/5 is a fair, honest and a bit stretched ranking for this place....

An amazing restaurant on the lower town of Zagreb, very close to the river. Great atmosphere and very clean. The staff was attentive and helpful, and the waiter was willing to explain all the different food options and even made some recommendations to help me choose. The food quality was exceptional, the portions were more than filling and everything I had was fresh and flavorful (a platter of mixed cevapi, salad and homemade bread). The wine was decent....
