Grill - Terasa "BIG BLUE" — Restaurant in Grad Nin

Every tourist should be carefull in this restaurant. We were scammed out of 40 EUR. Here's what happened:

We ended up at this restaurant because all the others were fully booked. Unfortunately, we only checked the reviews after we were already seated. During the meal, everything seemed fine—the staff was friendly, and the portions and food quality were good for the price.

When it came time to pay, we noticed that the waitress had forgotten to bring the water we had ordered. We asked her to either bring the water or remove it from the bill, which she did without any issues. We left the cash along with a 10% tip and exited the restaurant. I even left a 5-star review on Google Maps.

However, as we were leaving, the waitress chased us down, claiming that we hadn’t paid the full amount. She said that instead of the 50 EUR we supposedly handed her, we had only given 10 EUR. Shocked, I assumed I had made a mistake and handed her 50 EUR, apologizing for the error.

After we left the restaurant, I checked my wallet and realized I had been scammed. I always carry a limited amount of cash, and before entering the restaurant, I only had a few 50 EUR notes, so there was no way I could have mistakenly given her a 10 EUR note.

Disappointing food quality, though service was responsive.

I visited this restaurant and ordered the breaded chicken with fries. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the food quality. The chicken and fries were clearly frozen products that had simply been reheated/fried rather than freshly prepared. For the price, I expected at least some additional sides or even a simple salad garnish, but there was nothing else on the plate. On the positive side, the beer was reasonably priced at €3.60 for a large draft. However, one of the beers served to us had a fly in it. To their credit, the staff replaced it immediately without any hassle when we pointed it out. While the service was accommodating when issues arose, the poor food quality and hygiene concern make it difficult to recommend this place. For a restaurant, I expect freshly prepared meals, not reheated...

The staff is very kind and also spoke really good english. When I asked the waitress about some meatless options (they don’t have any listed on the menu) she immediately recommended me her favorite dish that could be made without meat and it was really good. The only cons are that they don’t offer any vegetarian/vegan optoins, you have to ask them to make you one. And they don’t have any phone number listed on the internet so you can’t contact them and make a reservation or ask anything about their menu since they don’t have that posted...
