Amazing seafood and warm hospitality!

Our family of four enjoyed two lunches at Marina Parentium, and both were simply amazing! This restaurant offers not only exceptionally fresh and delicious seafood, but also a heartfelt hospitality that makes you feel truly welcome. On our first visit, we had the calamari, sea bream, and tuna steak (which our two kids shared, insisting it had to come with French fries - even though it is not how tuna is meant to be served in this restaurant). Still, every dish was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and clearly made with care and top-quality ingredients. The fish was incredibly fresh, and each bite was a delight. We were so impressed that we came back the next day for more. This time we enjoyed their "fish plate for two" and another round of that outstanding tuna steak. The fish plate for two was absolutely wonderful - beautifully presented, generous in portion, and a perfect way to sample a variety of seafood. It’s our top recommendation for anyone visiting Restaurant Marina Parentium! The kids would also like to add their expert opinion: definitely try all the slushy flavours! (They’re helping me write this review🤣) But what makes this place truly special is more than just the food. The service is exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. I had dinner here with my girlfriend, enjoyed a wonderful stay with sight on the haven and islands-coasts surrounding the location. Food was wondeful, we had fish pasta for firsts and everything was cooked to perfection my Gf had scampi and i had seafood just fabulous. As second since they serve big portions we took a cordonbleu wich also blew out expectations. Staff was really friendly also spoke to us in German and other languages and understood every need we had and since it started raining and we asked for a taxi they asked theyr daughter to bring us home. Di soggiorno in uno dei complessi di resort nelle vicinanze, siamo venuti qui a cena dopo aver cercato dei locali ben recensiti e che ci ispirassero e devo dire che ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative! Il posto dà proprio sul porto della zona Parentium/Zelena, quindi potete cenare fronte mare con vista sulla laguna e le sue barche ancorate. Se non siete local, lo staff parla molto bene inglese, tedesco e anche italiano: tutti sono molto cordiali e gentili! Noi ci siamo recati qui senza una prenotazione e siamo riusciti ugualmente a trovare un tavolo, però consiglio vivamente di fare una telefonata per non trovarvi in una situazione poco favorevole. Per quanto riguarda i piatti, noi abbiamo assaggiato: la capasanta (anche se è scritto al plurale sul menù, è una sola) che era molto buona, morbida, freschissima, condita ma non in modo eccessivo, mi è piaciuta, poi abbiamo proseguito con una frittura di calamari e calamari ma grigliati con patatine (in alternativa, sono proposti anche con la verdura). Abbiamo preso questi ultimi due piatti perché purtroppo la nostra prima scelta, il piatto di pesce misto con verdure, era già terminata, ma in ogni caso ci sono piaciuti: la frittura era giusta, una buona pastella e l'accompagnamento della salsa tartara è stato gradito! Anche quelli grigliati mi sono piaciuti; croccanti e gustosi dalla brace al punto giusto, morbidi e freschissimi! Abbiamo accompagnato il tutto con del buon Malvasia istriano che vi consiglio davvero caldamente. Per finire, ci è stato offerto molto gentilmente il dolce e cioè un sorbetto al limone tipico istriano: l'ho trovato un po' dolce per i miei gusti, ma comunque buono e molto agrumato quindi perfetto per una fine cena a base di pesce. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo direi che è giusto viste le porzioni e la location del locale, anzi forse leggermente inferiore ad altri locali...
