Beach Bar Bamboo — Restaurant in Grad Zadar

Just the Saturday morning past, I ordered an Americano coffee, which arrived cold because they put cold water in the coffee and it was incredibly weak. I informed the waitress and she told me to take back my own coffee to the bar and have the bar staff change it if I didn't like it. I did that. The barista was clearly annoyed at this. Eventually the coffee returned to me- they had added hot water to it so the cup was filled to the brim and it looked like dirty water. I honestly didn't know what to say. A bad coffee is not an issue, but I was immediately treated like an entitled and over indulged tourist, they were incredibly rude and it seemed impossible to get a simple problem fixed. We paid and left. We're here for 2 months visiting family, and were hoping to make it a morning coffee place, but honestly, even the view is not worth stress of getting a basic coffee. Nice place with a high potency content, just a pity that not everything is taken out the place. The decoration is nice but a bit boring, some flowers / plants and mood lighting would have been very nice. View is incredibly beautiful and the reason why you would want to have a drink. On the internet it says that they sell cocktails (that was why we wanted to have a drink there) but they no longer make them. Yet she made an exception and we could choose from a few cocktails that she wanted to make for us, which was kind. Cocktails were okay. Staff could do a lot better. Our server worked incredibly hard because the other was chatting at the bar with the bartender and just waiting for drinks didn't work...

Love this place for my afternoon coffee with friends, which is a way of life in Croatia. Space is really open, with great view of the nearby islands, during the summer you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. There is a big parking space (mostly gravel) behind the establishment, a pair of swings and toboggans for children. During the summer they usually have a baking stand open in the morning, so you can enjoy morning breakfast and coffee with a beautiful scenery.
