We visited Malin accidentally on August 20th, and… what a surprise we found in such a small town! This is an untypical restaurant providing mainly Istrian food. After being hosted by a not only pleasant and polite but also very skilled and well-informed waiter we spent time enjoying the great local wine with a wonderful view of the ocean. For starter we had 2 Tartars (seabass and beef), as main courses we choose Boskarin, Seabass filet, Tuna steak and Stuffed Calamari. It is really hard to say which one of these courses was more delicious or artistically decorated. Whether it was Boskarin (Istrian cattle) or Stuffed Calamari it is probably a matter of someone’s taste, but for us, all were exceptionally good. After expressing our amazement to the waiter the Chef joined us for a quick chat. While talking with him we learned about his passion for the art of cooking and pushing the boundaries of Istrian cuisine. His innovative and hard work really reflects in the high quality of every dish. Worth every Kuna. If you are in the area of Pula or Medulin, and are looking for a place for fine dining with an excellent view and brilliant service worth every penny this place is for you. Familiy Kovac...

The flank steak (“stoji”) was expertly prepared — juicy, tender, and full of flavor. A slice of herb butter slowly melting on top added richness and depth to every bite.
The grilled vegetables were perfectly cooked, maintaining a nice balance of flavor and texture. The roasted-style potatoes were golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not at all greasy — just right.
A touch of fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes brought a refreshing contrast to the plate.
Service was fast, friendly, and professional, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. All in all, a fantastic dining experience from start to finish.
A restaurant truly worth recommending — I’ll definitely be...
Read moreWe had Ceviche as a starter - 14 EUR for two forks of fish which actually wasn't prepared as it should have been. The few salad leaves were quite old. As a main course we had the tuna steak (35 EUR), which was ok but the sauce which came with it was terrible. The tuna itself never ever was fresh, it was frozen before cooked (shape , taste, ...) The sauce was too bitter and too spicey. The fries weren't fried enough (cost extra 4 EUR). We liked to spend money on good food, no question. But in total a 110 EUR (for two persons) for a meal which shouldn't have cost more than 50 EUR is a rip -off. The staff was friendly and welcoming although I think they didn't care about the critics we communicated...
