The server was very rude and dismissive. We were guests at Hotel Split, which was very nice, but this restaurant was not to the standards one would expect when on vacation. As a Black traveler to foreign countries, I have very unique experiences when it comes to particular services, however the lack of professionalism displayed by this server warrants some level of accountability by both management as well as the owner(s). I would not recommend spending your time or money at this establishment. There was problem when we requested a simple order for water, as if he either didnt comprehend or just wasn't up for the challenge of pouring us water. I ordered the special pasta with steak and shrimp - which is supposedly a specialty of theirs, but after a prolonged wait was given a plate of cold noodles accompanied by about 3 small pieces of what should have been steak and no shrimp. We had to pretty much yell at the server before he would even come back to our table after literally dropping the plates in front of us. It was an extremely...

However, this review would not be complete without mentioning the legendary waiter who is named after the patron saint of Ireland. He delivers an Oscar winning performance of "the surly waiter" with zero interpersonal skills. Luckily, the supporting cast carry him and are quick to remedy his forgetfulness/disinterest in ensuring diners have things like cutlery or napkins. After a while, his behaviour took on comedic value as we watched other diners suffer at his hands. Oh, yes....almost forgot to say the restaurant is open till 11pm but don't try asking for a coffee after 9pm. Why? Because the waiter in question likes to switch off the coffee machine and clean it, ready for the next day and making you an after dinner coffee after 9pm would disrupt his...

Unfortunately, our experience at Havana was very disappointing. From the beginning, the service felt careless — the staff acted as if they couldn’t be bothered, and we had to wait far too long just to place an order.
When the food finally arrived, things only got worse. We ordered two fish plates, each costing €70 for two people, and the quality was shockingly poor for the price. The fish was clearly frozen, not fresh — and instead of the expected local fish like orada or brancin, we were served cheap cod. The calamari also tasted like they had come straight from a bag.
For a seaside restaurant in Dalmatia, where fresh fish should be the highlight, this was a huge letdown. The quality and value simply do not match the price, and the whole experience left us feeling ripped off.
