Ridiculous. I kindly asked if there was space for 2 people around 2 pm. He said that this was a problem since I had no reservation - we had just arrived at the marina and were pretty exhausted. 2/3 of the restaurant were empty. So I asked if it was possible to have something to drink and a small snack - we would’t take up the space long then. He gave us a table. Could have easily said no, that would have been fine. But when we then asked for the small snack - fries, suddenly that wasn’t possible and he basically ignored us for an hour after that while friendly attending others. We would have ordered more to eat otherwise but thought that wasn’t an option due to reservations. Being treated that arrogant and pay 7 € for a large Coke is just unnecessary and a tourist rip off, nothing less. Other people (Croatian) came in and even had drinks to take away. Isn’t that not something you do at a snack bar rather than a restaurant too? I speak 5 languages btw. Sorry, that I wasn’t able to learn proper Croatian in time. Read moreBig Coke 7 € (we did not order a double one as the answer suggests), they did not speak any English (it's not a world language by law, but come on, this is a Harbour with many international guests). Since food was somehow not possible (we got there after 2pm, kitchen must have been open as others got food, he could not explain himself why, since he apparently (see their answer) speaks so many languages, he should have used one, we speak: English, German, French, Swedish, some Italien, some Spanish), we asked for just a small fries dish if possible (before we got any menu), which was declined since they can only serve that with meat. We asked the third time for the food menu after we finally got the drinks, but he did not come back to us for half an hour to ask us what we want to order. We decided to go and leave this note here. Never again.

Read moreI have a highly confused emotions over this place - on one hand the food was really good, on the other hand - the unwelcoming service we’ve received from the young man, serving our table, was beyond comprehension. We didn’t leave the place only because on Sunday everything else was closed in marina and our team didn’t feel like cooking.
We were a group of 8 and had to come back on Sunday for the night in marina due to unstable weather. On our arrival to the restaurant the young man rolled up his eyes and made such a face as if he was doing an extreme favour by serving us. And there was only one other group dining. When we asked to move two tables together on the terrace, he refused - obviously too much of a trouble. We were forced to sit inside.
Food-wise this place is good. My grilled squids were fantastic as well as my husband’s lamb chops.
Surprise-surprise they’ve refused card payment. I guess, if we’ve have told we didn’t have cash, the card terminal would have appeared magically afterall.
