Dash Bistro Touch — Restaurant in Germasogeia

First time to eat here since change of management. We arrived at 7.30 to eat. We were not approached to take our wine order we had to motion for service. We ordered as we were served our wine. We were not offered bread or nibbles with our wine we waited for almost an hour for our starter. The starter was a disaster. Terrine was tiny with a great lump of apple sorbet and a tasteless foam. Very dissatisfied and disappointed We had to ask repeatedly for bread. The meals arrived far too late nearly 1 1/2 hours after arrival. Although the tenderloin was tender the rest of the meal was very unsatisfactory. The fondant potatoes were microscopic, cold and is a puddle of tasteless white paste. The green salad decorations were dry and old. The butter which we had to ask for was frozen and rancid. Terrible taste. Our duck breast was over cooked and dry. We called the manger. He was argumentative and full of justifications as to why the service and meal was substandard. Unacceptable. We had a small recompense in a small discount but the whole experience was wholly unsatisfying, unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. The only plus...

The food- I guess Limassol is catching up to the standards of the many good food spots in the EU.

Presentation was great, minor touches and elements that made the food stand out- matter and well done.

Small portions, but we prefer it. The quality was high, the dishes were crafted well, with good quality produce/ingredients, and you can see that a lot of attention to detail has been put into the presentation and experience of each dish.

Pricing is what you can now expect as normal in Limassol. It’s on the higher end of what we’d pay for the same experience in other EU foodie capitals, but hey, it’s Limassol, so yeah…

Overall a great experience for the first time. It’s close to home, no schlepping to the old town and can say with confidence that it’s one of the top three eateries this side of Limassol through to Malindi.

Food was tasty, came fast, service was professional and even though we came early, we enjoyed our little corner and the atmosphere and the design (lots of carefully thought out touches) was on point.

It seems that the owner has changed. Unfortunately, they have also changed the managing manager. The previous one was very polite, looked professional, the new one is kind of angry, ran around snorting at the waiters. The waiters were not polite last time, as if you came and owed them something... the food has also become worse (compared to the opening). We have been there 4 times since the opening and after the last time, we will not come again. They also removed the children's menu (and it was wonderful).
