We were staying at a hotel nearby and were struggling to find anything for my 4 year old to eat. Based on several recommendations we ventured down the road roughly 4 minute walk to The Nags Head Pub.
Our first visit was on the Sunday and it was busy as the Football was on which we didn't mind as hubby was happy 😀 lol - Atmosphere was cheery, loud but friendly.
PinaColada and Tiki cocktails were both loveeeely and definitely stronger and creamier than the hotels offerings lol Stella on tap, and virgin cocktails for my boy who wanted a strawberry "slushy" lol
An extensive menu from Breakfasts, Grill, Pasta, Mexican,Burgers Pizzas, Sharers Fish, Kids - this pub has the biggest menu I've seen and literally catered for everyones taste.
We had mozzarella sticks to start with a yummy salsa for dipping ( 6 or 12 you could choose) then I had the Chicken Kebab, my partner one of the burgers and my boy good old nuggets and chips. The portions are HUGE lol but good big for value especially when you are eating out away from your all inclusive hotel. ( great thing you can takeaway a doggy bag- a service they also offer in general)
My son ate ALL his dinner and as a mum struggling to get a boy to eat on holiday i was happy.
In total 7 drinks, 1 starter, 3 mains and 1 dessert €82 euros which we thought was good.
We had such a lovely evening we returned on the Tuesday which was much quieter but still fab atmosphere and staff attentive couldnt do enough to look after you.
Mixed meat grill sharer ( 33 euros) again big tray full of meat, halloumi, wedges and dips did not disappoint and arrived with envious looks from fellow dinners lol 😀
Thank you for a lovely couple of evenings dinning out.
We recommend if you like quieter surroundings ( especially if with family or younger children avoid nights when footy on) however The Nags are great and publish on their FB page if anythings showing in advance)
5* We will see you again when in Cyprus " You know it...

Read moreI sat down, looked at the menu, and decided to order the Texas Burger without the burger sauce (so just cheese and bacon). The listed price was €14.50.
When the waiter came to take my order, I told him exactly that: “I’d like the Texas Burger without the sauce.” Instead of simply taking the order, he told me “No, that’s a cheeseburger with bacon as an add-on.” I agreed, thinking it was the same thing, but what he didn’t mention was that this would cost me €16.50 — a €2 increase for what is essentially the exact same burger.
When the bill arrived, I noticed the higher price and asked about it. His response? “Are you really doing this for 2 euros?”
It’s not about the €2 — it’s about the dishonesty. I clearly stated what I wanted, yet he dismissed it and deliberately pushed me toward a more expensive option without being upfront about the price difference. And then to make me feel like I was wrong for questioning it? Absolutely unacceptable.
I won’t be visiting again, and honestly, neither should you. There are plenty of better restaurants that value honesty and respect for their customers.
