Came here for the first time to celebrate my partnerās birthday. Made a last minute reservation via Instagram and got an immediate response. The staff were attentive, quick and spoke several languages. The atmosphere was great -modern, stylish and welcoming, but not snobbish like many new restaurants in Limassol. I especially loved the murals by the local artist Yeti :)
I had forgotten to bring a candle for my partnerās dessert so I reached out to the restaurant via Instagram and they kindly arranged one-such a thoughtful touch :)
The food is modern Middle Eastern, made with local and seasonal ingredients. We ordered bread with tyrokafteri, baked feta, baked cauliflower, zaāatar potatoes, sea bream crudo, octopus and Pavlova to share, plus a drink each and water.
The cauliflower, feta, sea bream and Pavlova were all delicious - I would definitely order them again. The potatoes didnāt have much zaāatar flavour and while the octopus was well cooked and full of flavour, I personally would have liked it a bit crispier on the outside.
We paid just over ā¬100 for two people, including a 10% tip.
Just a thought: It might be part of the restaurantās style, but it would be nice if each table had one dedicated waiter throughout the evening rather than different people bringing each dish.
Overall, well done and good luck with the business - weāll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās the first place with interesting food on Cyprus. Living here for three years you are getting used to European cuisine, of to try something Middle East usually these are places with low quality service, not good staff and doubts about the taste. AYA IS FIRST PLACE WITH really interesting taste, good quality, amazing service, big size of dishes (mostly order to share, not like a main dish). Interior is perfect, so for girls to take pictures for instagram itās a right place for sure! Order cocktails , they are unique there and you will not find ordinary Aperol or Hugo, there are numerous different kinds of cocktails and wine! For food we had : humus (4+), hallah(5++),eggplant starter (5++), chicken(5), grilled octopus (5+ itās not the same like in other places), beetroot salad (5++) and cherry on top was PAVLOVA desert (5++++) try it 100%! Also was a mistake parking in another place as we didnāt expect that AYA HAS PARKING, and actually itās very comfortable to have lunch and not worry that you will be late somewhere just cause you parked your car in another street! Arranging already next dinner with Aya! And will come here many times. So next visit I plan for the cauliflower with tahini! Just cause we ate really much this time there was no place...
Ā Ā Ā Read morevisited Aya Cooks yesterday after hearing all the buzz lately. I have to admit, I was a bit disappointedāeven though my expectations werenāt particularly high. Service-wise, there was quite a delay: we waited nearly 50 minutes between the starters (salads and bread) and the main dishes. The sides we ordered ā the potatoes ā arrived about 10 minutes after our mains were served. We asked a couple of times about the status of our order, but kept getting the same response: āItās on its way.ā As for the food, nothing really stood out to me. Aside from the hummus (my kryptonite!), the rest of the dishes left me rather unfazed ā not exactly bad, just unremarkable. The place itself is beautifully decorated, but despite the stylish interior, the overall ambience and energy felt a...
