Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Germasogeia

There’s absolutely no doubt that your food tastes amazing, that’s never been the issue. However, the behavior and attitude of your staff is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Multiple times, we’ve tried to place an order shortly before closing time, and we’ve been told the same thing: “We’ve already mixed everything — pork, chicken, etc. — so it's better if you come back in the morning.”

We’ve heard this excuse not once or twice, but over 15 to 20 times. It clearly feels like the staff just wants to avoid taking late orders so they can close the shop early, rather than genuinely maintaining food standards.

But the bigger issue here is much more serious: your staff is fully aware that we are Muslim and do not consume pork. Yet even when we request a chicken or even a vegetarian pizza, we are told that pork has been mixed into everything.

Isn’t it your responsibility to ensure proper food handling — keeping pork, chicken, beef, and vegetarian items strictly separate? Many of your customers do not eat pork due to religious or dietary reasons, and it’s highly unprofessional and disrespectful to ignore that.

This isn't just poor service — it’s negligence. I hope management takes this seriously and trains the staff to be more respectful, responsible, and careful with food preparation and...

It used to be good. Same quality every time.

I ordered 7 months ago and not only did the pizza come 2 hours late, I got a really weird garlic sauce, not the usual one. And no peperoncinis, which are both a standard everywhere you go.

I didn't order in 7 months because we were disappointed.

I went in today to get a takeaway in the hopes it had gone back to good. Nope.

I ordered a pizza, asked for garlic on top, she said, we're out of garlic sauce. Huh. The pizza came with no garlic sauce on the side, no peppers either. Which is not by the chains standards.

I also asked for half the pizza to have bacon on it, I got ham instead. Please tell me if you don't have an ingredient instead if substituting it, I don't like ham.

Not the service I was expecting. It used to be good, even a friend confirmed what I said, she ordered a while back and apparently the pizza was half-cooked, dry, with a hair in it. Yuck.

The pizza tasted fine today but I had wrong ingredients and lack of things that make papa John stand out, like their signature...

One of the worst experience ive ever encountered! The food is lovely, but the service it's quite shocking and appalling. Specifically that lady behind the counter. I was ignored from the moment I enter the place. She didn't acknowledge me once and was incredibly rude. I asked about my order and she just looked away, my food was sitting on the side they didn't even bother to ring me when the food was ready. I had an issue trying to pay online I thought my payment was gone through but she didn't even bother to ask me to pay, it turned out they only accept visa method and no MasterCard in the year of 2022. So I had to pay over the phone and compromise my credit card security for a pizza. I will be ordering again just because I like the food but sadly I'll have to try to order from the other shop hopefully they have someone a bit...
