PizzaExpress — Restaurant in Germasogeia

Big fan of pizza express, however the constantly menu changing, really upsets me. Visited today and wanted to order as starter the famous bruschetta con funghi. I was surprised that it was not in the new menu. Really disappointed. Other dishes have also disappeared.

Moreover, ordered two zero cokes. Instead of zero coke, I received 2 Pepsi max. Knowing that they always got Coca Cola, I asked why they brought me 2 Pepsi max instead of Coca Cola Zero, and the answer was that it is out of stock, as a result I returned it.

Didn’t really upset me the fact that they brought Pepsi instead, but because they didn’t asked before taking the decision. Pizza express have been known not only for amazing dishes and quality but for extinguishing service from the personnel. Barely saw it today and the rating given dropped due to those facts.

Upon receiving the bill, I noticed that it included charges for both soft drinks. I promptly informed the waiter of the error, and she graciously rectified the situation by going inside to make the necessary adjustments. It is the attention to such small details that sets a business apart.

No comments for the quality of food. Big portions, tasty and fresh as always.

PS: Visited you few weeks ago and encountered same disappointing costumer service. Waiters dropping the plates on the table, not approachable at all and without a smile throughout the time. Felt really uncomfortable. However thought it was just a bad day, but as mentioned above the issues keep increasing. Of course will visit you again and hope the mentioned issues will fix be fixed.

We went there for lunch on a Sunday (August) with another couple. We were welcomed from a very friendly waiter who helped us choose our dishes. The non-alcoholic cocktails were amazing and the salad was nice too. But when both mine and my friend‘s risotto came our first bite was so bad we immediately drank water to be able to eat the next bite. The dish seemed very promising, apparently it’s a new one (Gamberettini) but it was soooooo salty. And I’m a person that loves salt in my food. But this was way out of proportion. There was also no broccoli in, unlike what it said in the menu. We didn’t make a fuss though because the food was already veryyyy late to come. My friend left most of her food in the plate and stuck to the salad. I was eating it slowly with lots of water! What I didn’t appreciate was that when we gave the feedback to the waiter in the end when we paid (this was a more junior waiter not the guy who welcomed us) he said “oh when it’s very busy, the chef may do such mistakes”!! We all found that reaction unprofessional and bizarre. Anyways, we may be going again to give it another shot but this time we will definitely be returning the food if it’s that bad. If you haven’t visited the newly renovated Pizza Express in Limassol , RUN, don’t walk. Book a table now, it’s always packed (and for good reason).

The place looks absolutely stunning. Honestly, there’s nothing like this design anywhere else in Limassol. It’s fresh, modern, and full of character.

And the food? To. Die. For. Even though I’m a regular, this time I went for the new menu and JESUS… I couldn’t get enough.

The risotto? Divine. The chicken wings? Addictive. The pizzas? Dangerous !!! I literally couldn’t stop. I even grabbed one to go, because I had to try them all. Zero regrets.

Nothing fancy, just honest food made really well, you can tell the woman running that kitchen knows exactly what she’s doing.
