Where do I start… the horrible client service or the revolting food. Hard to pick. But I’ll start with Tom Yum - a soup served with shellfish insides and carcasses disintegrated in the soup with lemongrass pieces all over the soup that I had to dig out of my mouth one by one. Gave up. Threw it away. The tuna roll I ordered that arrived looking like cat food, and guess what tasted something like cat food too. “Lobster” rolls, nothing about that is lobster, it’s canned fish dry like my dr martens shoe soles. Duck springrolls were dry and didn’t have 4 pieces as mentioned in the portion, but two cut in half. The cashew chicken was soggy and tasteless. Rice is cheap quality and tastes more bland than you can imagine. The only nice thing about this were chopsticks. The rest of it ended up in trash. Now client service, the restaurant manager tried to convince I don’t know what I’m eating and that is “ how they do things “. When asked about what shall we do about the 100€ worth of food we had to throw away I was told to come eat it all again for free. No thank you Absolute disaster to feed people with food this horrible. I’d love for the hotel owner to go and eat there to understand that what they are serving to people is...
Read moreNot a fan of this place, but a couple of dishes somewhat redeemed the experience. I don’t recommend ordering from Foodie – the portion sizes are about half of what you get in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the dine-in experience wasn’t much better. While the male server was helpful, one female staff member was dismissive and borderline rude, which made the visit uncomfortable.
That said, if you do visit, I highly recommend trying the fusion salmon tataki – it’s a standout dish! The unagi sashimi also offers good value for money because the chunks are quite large (only at the restaurant though, not via delivery). Some of the cooked dishes we tried before felt overpriced and had an off taste, as if they weren’t fresh.
Service was overall poor; I felt like I was bothering the staff member just by asking for basic attention, and my plate was nearly taken while I was still obviously eating.
I personally found the restaurant’s interior design unappealing, which made the overall experience even less enjoyable. I wouldn't come back, except maybe for the salmon tataki...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a long time, whether dining in or ordering at home, it’s always been a go-to spot for me. The food has always been great, especially the pad thai, which I’ve ordered many times and always enjoyed. However, today I was really disappointed. I ordered my usual (pad thai) for delivery, and it arrived without the sauce which completely changed the flavor of the dish. I called to let them know, mistakes can happen, that’s human. I didn’t ask for a refund, but I expected them to at least offer to send the sauce. Instead, I was told there’s nothing they could do and that the menu had changed 15 days ago. Even if that’s the case, there was no prior notice or update in the ordering system to reflect this change. As a regular customer I found the response careless and a bit dismissive. This experience left a bad taste (literally and figuratively), and I won’t be ordering...
