De Niro’s Bistro Cafe — Restaurant in Girne Belediyesi

We went for a bite after having the burger recommended by the staff of a nearby store — it looked promising but my boyfriend found some Mysterious Meat that was inedible in the middle of his burger, and that somewhat turned him off to the whole thing. Fries are bad, don’t bother ordering (both the ones that come with the burger as well as the garlic Parmesan ones, they’re kinda soft and soggy :( but at least the little dipping sauce is delicious!)

However, I ordered the sharing nacho plate (only for myself, haha) and it’s really a sharing plate, I couldn’t finish on my own. It comes LOADED with sour cream, but in my opinion, they could add more guacamole and go easy on the pico de gallo, which was kind of overwhelming.

The hot chocolates are worth a go, for sure, try the Rich Italian.

We will be back to try other things, as prices are good and the ambiance is nice despite the incredibly outdated songs playing, which was actually kind of fun! I’m looking forward to trying their mac’n’cheese and will update the review...

They have advertise that the waffle has nutella but then it’s just regular chocolate sauce that is not good, we tried to get the waiters attention multiple times with our hand in the air in the end because they didn’t notice us and then when we said it’s not Nutella he brought us more of the same sauce and we tried to explain that I don’t eat other chocolate sauces and they said it was Nutella which it was not and then the waiter just said “this is our Nutella” so they did nothing, I think it’s fake advertising and using name of a well knowned brand...

Yes, the presentation is really good.. when they brought the food I was like wow I am going to eat something really good today! But with the first bite I was just disappointed. We had nashville chicken & french dip roasted meat. It was an absolute disaster. We only ate our food because we were so hungry but I would never ever go back there. The meat tasted so weird like it already went bad a few days ago.. and the chicken was not chicken. It tasted like beans. the fries and the garlic...
