Dorana Hotel — Hotel in Girne Belediyesi

We arrived very early due to our flight and was treated to a complimentary breakfast by the management which was very thoughtful. The room was clean, staff pleasant. Breakfast was simple but boring as it didn't change, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, salad cheeses, bread and cornflakes no other choice of breads or cereals and nothing to put on them. My major problem was the pillows that felt as if they were stuffed with pebbles. If, like me, you like tea or coffee on waking then bring your own makings as, like most hotels here, there is no facilities...

There were 28 of us all ages. We arrived in Kyrenia and it very cold and snowing. The waves were coming over harbour wall. The Dorana Hotel was warm and friendly. Our rooms had toiletries, slippers, fridge, safe and excellent WiFi. Yakim and his staff were pleasant and made our visit very special. We had a party in the dining room with a piano, and when hotel restaurant was closed were told to go to restaurant next door and bring in food. The hotel has parking and is surrounded by cafes, shops and only a 5 minute walk to harbour....

Wir sind eher zufällig in dieses Hotel gekommen, da wir unplanmäßig dem typischen Touri-Bunker Alanya entfliehen wollten und uns einfach in die Fähre nach Nordzypern gesetzt hatten ohne vorher etwas zu reservieren.||||Nordzypern ist ein guter Geheimtipp für günstige, luxuriöse und schöne Hotelaufenthalte, ....sofern man rechtzeitig vorher alles bucht :-).||Als Studenten hatten wir nur ein knappes Budget und das Hotelmanagement war so freundlich uns mit dem Preis etwas entgegen zu kommen.||||Als wir in das Zimmer kamen waren wir angenehm überrascht.||Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett sehr gemütlich. Girne ist eine kleine Stadt und das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen, so dass man es nirgendwohin weit hat.||Eine Autoverleih mit dem man in Notfällen auch gut verhandeln kann ist auch gleich nebenan. ;-)||||Das Frühstück wird als Buffet angeboten. Es ist nicht üppig, aber reicht für eine gute Stärkung für den Tag.||||Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das auf eine sehr natürliche und nicht aufgesetzte Art und Weise.||||Aus unseren Zimmer hatten wir leider keine besondere Aussicht, ich weiß jedoch nicht, ob es für alle Zimmer gilt.||||Ich kann das Hotel jedoch, insbesondere für spontane Aufenthalte,...
