Jackson Gastro Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Kiti

Right...No issue with any of the drinks or food although we did not order any food. Nor any issue with the management, the guys are lovely. My issue was with the unprofessionality of a staff member. We asked for the check and then this lady server came with the bill i think Russian in her mid 40s she started shouting with everyone else hearing in the backround "You're paying yes??Because you're the boss". This took me by surprise and i said "what" and she said " You're paying because you look rich". Now i'm all up for some "light banter" but in a subtle way and no need for the whole place to hear us. Worst thing is i have never spoken to this lady in my life and in my opinion she acted highly unprofessional in front of me and my partner. We are not old buddies lady, who gave you the right to talk to me that way? I don't know who made you mad, but keep it professional. Even my partner was shocked the way she spoke to me. Jacksons used to be amazing. Their delivery and customer service unfortunately went down the drain. I’ve been on and off ordering from them for 3-4 months now and always a club sandwich which was made on a baguette and was delicious. My last order came as seen in the images. I was honestly shocked because they charge a hefty amount. When I called the store to ask if there was a mistake they told me that’s how the club sandwich is delivered now. Ridiculous! It tasted cheap and NOTHING like a club sandwich. My friend ordered a chicken burger w/grilled veggies which came in the same bizarre wrapping. It was soggy and over cooked . When I mentioned they forget the vegetables they said “yah we probably forget.” no attempt to reimburse until I demanded a refund and asked them to come pickup the food (which 3-4 hrs later they told me they weren’t going to pick it up) We sampled the food to see if the taste was salvageable but alas, the experience left a (literally) bad taste...

No matter if you order delivery or come here to eat, you're in for a treat.

Anything my friends and I have ordered here so far was phenomenal. The lamb chops are better than anywhere else I have been to, juicy and incredibly aromatic served with delicious mashed potato, the rib-eye steak can easily compete with any high-rated steak restaurant I have tried in Larnaca and the deserts here taste like they have been just freshly prepared every single time.

The owners come across humble, wholehearted, professional and attentive which reflects on all the staff that work here.

What makes this place even more magical is its beautiful position right in the heart of Kiti next to a beautiful little church that looks like it's out of a fairytale. Even if I find another place to live on this Island from paradise, I will make sure to continue  making an appearance and continue enjoying every nuance of this beautiful place.
