Blue Spice Restaurant — Restaurant in Paralimni

One of the best places to relax and eat in the area. The pool is free to use for non residents as long as you don’t abuse it by bringing outside food in, not that you’d need to, lunch and dinner here is very reasonably priced and cooked to a high quality.

The Blue Spice is somewhere we use several times a week every time we visit the island, the staff are genuinely friendly and there is zero pressure to buy drinks or food.

Around the pool is clean, the toilets are spotless, it really is a beautiful place in every sense of the word. It’s a huge shame that the massage tent has gone, Galia now operates out of Aya Napa.

Edit - On our most recent visit June 2022 we noticed the lunchtime menu has changed, there is a bit less choice, no omelette and if you’re a vegetarian then it’s either salad or Veggie Pizza, prices have gone up quite a bit too.

The biggest disappointment was no Massage tent, it’s been replaced by a coffee Kiosk, we used to love having a back massage between lunch and sitting by the pool. This used to be an easy 5 star but the changes have made the place not as desirable...

Blue Spice Restaurant offers 10% discount to the guests who stay in the nearby “Wake by the Sea Flats” (virtually at a distance of 5 meters) which is a small “aparthotel”. The restaurant is almost attached to the beach “Potami – Merlita” which is just across the road. There is a swimming pool inside - therefore there is a beach like atmosphere. I do not insist that it is a major asset, but it is the fact.

Food and drinks are as good as in other restaurants in Pernera – maybe slightly more expensive. We were loyal customers of this restaurant for a period of 14 days. What is left in our memory are extremely kind, friendly and unobtrusive attitude of all staff, very quick preparation and delivery of orders (of a good quality dishes). It looks that the whole staff is working as one team – it is not clear to whom the tips should be left when you are served by two-three people at a time – without competing to each other.

Blue Spice was a delightful find when we needed a spot to spend the day after checking out of our villa. Initially stopping by for breakfast, we were pleasantly surprised to discover the versatile space, featuring a serene garden, comfy lounges, a swimming pool, and an adjoining bar with a coffee shop, prompting us to extend our stay.

The staff were exceptionally nice and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The drinks were refreshing and well-prepared. The breakfast offerings were satisfying, but the burger seemed a bit basic compared to its description. Despite this minor detail, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the diverse amenities made it a pleasant place to relax and unwind. Would definitely visit again for the ambiance and service.
