To Akroyiali — Restaurant in Paralimni

Very disappointing for a fish restaurant.

We ordered the fish platter and being a fish restaurant expected the various fish mentioned on the menu to be cooked with some imagination and variety. Sadly aside the sea bream which although slightly over cooked was grilled /stuffed with onion and so had a bit of taste, everything else - about 5 other types of fish - was fried. The result was a very bland, tasteless platter of fried fish plonked on the table. Looks wise the platter was very unappealing with no effort at dressing the platter aside 2 halves of lemon.

It would have been a nice touch if the waiter had explained what the various fish were, but he didn’t. It would have been nice if the accompanying side salad - the best bit if I’m honest - had been in a bowl or side dish and served with a spoon to help dishing it onto your plate, but it wasn’t.

We may have been unlucky, but as we won’t ever be going back,...

Amazing, fresh and tasty food & 5 stars service. I stayed at a nearby hotel for over a week with my boyfriend and after discovering TO AKROYIALI we were hooked and decided to come back pretty much every day (sometimes twice a day). The menu has a huge variety of seafood options , great salads and amazing desserts. The portions are super generous and every dish is presented very nicely. The seafood is fresh and they serve it with a variety of side dishes but my favourite was their freshly cut chips. The staff is super friendly and attentive and the owner, Damianos, is very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home every day .
