Can’t believe that such a fancy place offers this food. We had salmon, calamari and chicken fillet, they all were served with half raw steamed broccoli, carrots and plain boiled potatoes, with no sauce, like in a hospital. They offered a sauce cup of olive oil as a sause 😵‍💫 All meat was plain grilled and even not salted enough. They messed up our drinks, they brought cold cuts after main course, cherry tomatoes and bread tasted like they were bought in a closest supermarket. They gave us refreshing towels and we had to place them on the table after using? They gave us a fruit platter, forks and plates but no knives? It’s impossible to catch a waiter and we can hear people around complain about super slow service - the place was half empty, there were three times more waiters than customers!! Sarsons malt vinegar bottle on the table, like in a pub.. at the same time three people serving us, the water sits in the ice bucket and there’s a dj, I don’t get it.. Just look at this food on the pics and keep in mind we paid 240€ for the dinner. There’s more sophisticated food in tavernas around.. Ok, they gave us some extra drinks and a fruit salad as an excuse, plus Cypriot waiters were super friendly and fun, for that I’ll add...

It was empty and pretty cold as hearing was off - one other table at the time. Took a long time to get our aperitif cocktails, which were brought almost at the same time as the starter soups.

Unfortunately, the starters were cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up. Was ok after is was warmed.

Same with the main course. Food was cold and we send back one meal to be warmed. We ate the others as we waited long enough and were in just hungry at this point. Food came back microwave burning hot. Courses were mediocre - better food at a any pub around the area for 1/3 of the price. By this time the A/C heating was warming up.

The waiters did offer free coffee and cognac afterwards to remedy the long waiting times and cold food. They were very friendly and...

The food was fine. We had a tuna steak, and a beetroot salad. Very good and friendly service.

Wine selection per glass is not great. There is only Xynistery and Pinot Grigio at a price that is under 15 EUR I believe, and everything else is 20 or so. Big gap. Hard to choose something if you are not planning to spend more than 20 EUR for your drink. It would be amazing to have some Greek wines per glass as well.

What was really, really bad is loud music. Impossible to talk. The restaurant probably tried to create a party beach vibe, but the audience is not youngsters willing to drinks and dance. All adults willing to talk with each other. Loud music makes it impossible. The speakers are all around the restaurant, pretty...

First time at Bonsai and liked it. It’s more a teppanyaki restaurant so very friendly for families with young children. The main dishes were good but not very special when compared with other regular Japanese restaurants. The scallops appetizer and chocolate dessert were very good. The food deserves a 3 but I’m giving it a 4 because the appetizer and dessert were good + the service was very good.
