Disclaimer: I really, really wanted to like this resort. This has been a disappointing stay. We have seen the reviews, vlogs, and articles about Cap St Georges and we couldn't wait to stay there. The reality was far from our expectations. For the price of almost €500 a night, you are better of reserving a room somewhere better and cheaper. I will list down the issues we saw in the hotel that can be fixed. 1. Hospitality: some of the staff at the front door, breakfast, and transportation have left us confused and irritated by their lack of hospitality towards us. Simple things, like a "hello how are you?" Or asking about our stay and having small talk and just being friendly overall is a forgein concept to them. They lack proper training. Its small things like this that make the guests overlook the glaring issues. We had one incident where transportation team left us stranded for over 30 mins in the night in the middle of nowhere and we couldn't get back to the hotel, and once they arrived...no apology no questions no explanation. This is just one incident we faced and so many things that have been communicated to the hotel already. 2. Understaffed: You can expect delays in the hotel as they are understaffed. You can 7-8 people working in the reception, which is fairly empty most of the time, but the beach areas where it's super busy with hotel guests and tourists, have only 2-3 people working their on a good day. Its a bunch of teenagers doing their best to keep customers happy despite everyone irritated with the delays in food, service. There needs to be either more hires, or a reshuffle in positions. 3. Restaurants: I don't recommend any of their restaurants. Overpriced, the food quality is below average. Kohili is nice just to sit down and have a beverage. I would even suggest not dining at their breakfast "Yeronisos" as their isn't variety and also a very bad smell in the indoor area. Smells like a sewage. 4. The rooms, albeit cozy, has issues with the smart technology. I spoke to some guests who faced the same issues. The lights would randomly turn on and off, air condition wouldn't work, I say either fix this or ditch the technology all together. Our phones did not have a directory for the the telephone numbers of the facilities in the hotel, and when we mentioned this to the reception they were perplexed themselves... 5. Improvement: I really, really didn't want to give a bad review. I spoke to the reception time and time again, and we did not see an improvement during our stay. We were tired to be swayed with fruit baskets or drinks, and this generous from their end, but a customer doesn't want gifts...they want respect. Respect for paying good money to stay at this hotel, to pay so much money to visit this part of Cyprus, to take an international flight, respect for bringing this issues up to them and to be open to feedback and improvement. We didn't see this respect at the resorts. This only gets two stars, because of the undeniably beautiful location, and the guest relations team, namely Sofia and Valentina, who despite the poor stay, they absolutely tried their best to make this trip somewhat memorable for us. Would I stay here again? I don't know, it depends on if they improve on these things. Definitely not in the near future.

My stay at Cap St Georges Resort & Spa was an unparalleled experience of luxury and sophistication. As I entered my suite, I was immediately struck by the sheer beauty and elegance it exuded. The suite was a masterpiece of design, with every detail carefully considered. The private pool, a true gem of the suite, was a haven of tranquility. Overlooking the glistening sea, it offered a sense of serenity that was second to none. Whether it was an early morning swim or a late-night dip under the starry sky, the pool became my personal oasis. One of the standout features of the suite was the expansive glass panel in the bathroom. This unique design element allowed me to enjoy breathtaking sea views right from the comfort of the spacious bathtub. The experience of soaking in warm water while gazing out at the horizon was nothing short of magical. The bathroom itself was a work of art. It was not merely a functional space but a sanctuary of relaxation. The bathtub, large enough to lose yourself in, was complemented by a luxurious shower that provided a refreshing cascade of water. The attention to detail in the fixtures and the choice of materials added to the overall sense of opulence. Moving beyond the suite, the resort's beach was a true showstopper. Its aesthetic appeal was matched only by the comfort of the sunbeds and cabanas, creating the perfect setting for basking in the Mediterranean sun. The pool area was equally inviting, radiating an air of refinement and comfort. Whether I wanted to relax poolside or take a rejuvenating swim, it offered a serene and stylish retreat. The resort also catered to a wide range of interests with its array of activities. From sports like stand-up paddleboarding, football, volleyball, and tennis to the unique and unforgettable experience of horse riding, there was something for everyone to enjoy. When it came to dining, the resort's restaurants exceeded all expectations. The teppanyaki restaurant was a culinary delight, showcasing skillfully prepared dishes. But the real culinary gem was the Mesoyi Greek restaurant. Dining there, especially during sunset with its breathtaking sea views and the accompanying DJ vibes, was an experience that left an indelible mark on my memory. The lobby's terrace and Kohili restaurant also deserve a special mention as they offered the best seats in the house for witnessing the mesmerizing sunset. And, of course, breakfast was a daily delight. The spread of options, including a selection of healthy choices, provided a perfect start to each day. In conclusion, Cap St Georges Resort & Spa is the epitome of luxury and hospitality in Cyprus. From the exquisite suite with its private pool, glass bathroom panel, and spacious, sumptuous bathroom, to the stunning beach, stylish pool area, diverse activities, and the title of being the best sunset spot in the region, the resort leaves no desire unmet. It's a place where sophistication meets serenity, and every moment is a memory to treasure. My first visit was unforgettable, and I eagerly anticipate returning to this unparalleled paradise.

We first discovered Maniki Beach and Cap St George during a family holiday in 2023, when we stayed at Annabelle near Paphos Harbour. This year, we decided to experience Cap St George and spent 10 nights there (booked directly with the hotel, with flights arranged separately). The hotel itself is modern, beautifully designed, and certainly impressive. The pool area was a real highlight- comfortable loungers, a calm atmosphere, and always plenty of space no matter what time of day we went down. Maniki Beach, is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Our kids are pretty chill and had a great time in the pool and floating around in the sea and there is a football pitch to knock the ball around. There is also a games room and kids club but they didn’t visit these. Dining at the resort was excellent. Great choice for breakfast. There are three main restaurants: Kohili Beach Club quickly became a favourite thanks to its vibe, location and atmosphere, the Italian was also very good, and while we didn’t try the teppanyaki, it looked like a fun option. As expected in Cyprus, the food and drinks were consistently high quality. Beyond the hotel, there are plenty of great dining options within a 10-minute drive or tax —Oniro by the Sea remains one of our absolute favourites since discovering it a couple of years ago and is a must at sunset. Our room (2324 - 2325 Cap Family Suite) was spacious, spotlessly clean thanks to the excellent housekeeping team, and had an amazing view. Across the board, staff were warm, helpful and professional, with a special mention to the bellboys who were outstanding and kindly offered to park the car every time we came back to the hotel. First for me.. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. Service around the pool was often quite slow, (not that this affected us but it clearly upset some of the other visitors) The concierge team could be more proactive, welcoming, and helpful in their approach. Tried to book my daughter a horse ride during our 10 day stay but couldn’t get arranged so maybe you need to book well in advance. Finally, while the evenings were pleasant, the hotel could really elevate the guest experience with some subtle entertainment or atmosphere around the main restaurant area. No rock band, just a little live music to take it up a notch like you have at Kohili. Although there are musicians on the lobby bar terrace some evenings, they didn’t really get a turn out. All in all, Cap St George is a fantastic hotel with so much to love—stylish, relaxing, and family-friendly. With just a few tweaks, it has the potential to go from great to truly exceptional. A few family friendly things to do whilst visiting: - Paphos Zoo is a great place to visit - Self Hire a boat from George’s Watersports in Latchi and visit Blue Lagoon - Self Hire a buggy and tour the whole coastline up to Akama National Park and Latchi (Cap St George is a great location to tour Paphos, Latchi, Lara Bay and everything in between). Summary|Cap St George is a beautiful property with impressive facilities and a professional front-desk team, but the experience is let down by poor coordination across departments. Service is inconsistent, communication is weak, and basic requests often go ignored or mishandled. For the price, I expected a seamless luxury stay. What I got instead was a mix of generosity, confusion, and repeated frustration.|We stayed the first two weeks of October.||Review|I stayed at Cap St George Hotel in Paphos with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. We originally planned to stay for two or three nights but ended up extending the trip to a full week for convenience. We paid a considerable amount of money, expecting a relaxing and well-managed experience. The property is beautiful, and the front desk staff are polite, but almost everything behind the scenes felt disorganized.||Arrival and Setup|Before arriving, I contacted guest services to arrange a few things for my girlfriend’s birthday. I ordered champagne for the room and requested a birthday cake to be presented at the end of a special dinner I had booked at Kohili’s, the hotel’s seaside restaurant.|The pre-arrival communication was excellent, and when we arrived late at night, everything was set up perfectly. The champagne was waiting, and the room was decorated nicely. We were even upgraded to a suite that normally costs around €1,000 a night, which was generous and appreciated.||The Birthday Dinner|The birthday dinner is where things started to go wrong. It was meant to be the highlight of the trip — a planned surprise with a birthday cake to finish the evening.|The setting was beautiful, and the starters arrived quickly, but then everything fell apart. We waited nearly forty minutes for our mains and ended up finishing an entire bottle of wine in that time. When the food finally arrived, we ate, but no one cleared our plates afterward or offered dessert.|I knew there was supposed to be a surprise birthday cake, yet after forty-five minutes of waiting, nothing happened. I eventually went to the bathroom and overheard staff on the phone talking about the cake, while others were walking around the restaurant handing out towels for guests to wave while music played.|Everyone around us was dancing, laughing, and celebrating while we sat there completely ignored. When the cake finally arrived, it was close to 11 p.m., the air had gone cold, and the moment had passed. It felt less like a birthday celebration and more like a humiliation ritual. Watching everyone else party while we sat waiting was genuinely awkward — it ruined what should have been the most special evening of the trip.||Room Service|Room service was unreliable the entire two weeks.|Day 1: Ordered breakfast around 9 a.m. for my girlfriend’s birthday. Nothing arrived for over an hour. I called and was told it was on the way. Twenty minutes later, someone called back to ask what we had ordered and whether we wanted to cancel it. The food finally arrived around 11:30 a.m., more than two hours after ordering. They removed the charge, but that is not really the point.|Day 2: Breakfast arrived correctly.|Day 3: Ordered a dish that came with hash browns and tomatoes but got salad and eggs instead. It took thirty minutes to fix.|Day 4: The same thing happened again. I also ordered pineapple juice but received two orange juices.|Check-out day: Ordered soft-boiled eggs, got hard-boiled eggs.|About 70% of the time you already know you’re going to get a wrong order. And if you complain, you basically have to wait another thirty minutes for someone to come and fix it. So, if you order at 9:30 a.m. and try to get it corrected, you’ll end up eating breakfast closer to 11 a.m. It’s a recurring pattern that becomes exhausting after a few days.|You can order food through the app, but it is confusing and unreliable. For example, if you order two eggs, the menu clearly says it comes with hash browns and tomatoes. What actually arrives is just two eggs. When you call room service to correct it, you end up being treated as if you are asking for something extra, even though it is written directly on the app as part of the dish.|You also cannot order hot drinks through the app. Each morning, you have to call reception or make a separate order for coffee or tea. I tipped five euros on every single order in addition to the tray/service charge, but the service never improved. It genuinely feels like the kitchen and room service teams do not communicate, and nobody checks the final order before sending it out.||Salon Experience|This was one of the most frustrating parts of the stay.|My girlfriend went to the salon one morning and was told it opened at 10 a.m. She came back at 11 a.m., then was told she must have forgotten that the salon isn’t open on Thursdays and to make an appointment for the next day.|She booked for 2 p.m. the following day, but when she showed up, the salon was closed. In the spa, she was told, ā€œOh, nobody informed you? She’s really sick today, but you can book for tomorrow.ā€ The staff laughed out of embarrassment but weren’t apologetic.|The worst part is we gave them our room number, phone number, and email, yet nobody informed us. We stayed in the room all day waiting for that appointment, cancelling our plans to go into the city. It was a complete waste of time and another example of how poorly coordinated everything is here.||Spa Experience|The spa itself was good, and the treatments were relaxing, but even there, something went wrong.|When we booked, we were asked on the phone if we wanted to be in the same room. We said yes. When we arrived, we were taken to separate rooms without any explanation. We honestly did not care that much, but it just felt strange because they specifically asked that question when we booked.|Because of this, I was sitting in the room for the first fifteen minutes wondering if there had been a mix-up and if I should say something or not. It was one of those moments where you just laugh to yourself at how avoidable it all was.|It’s small things like this that make you realize every micro interaction here seems set up for disappointment. There is no follow-through, even for the simplest requests.||Restaurant Booking Confusion|By this point, we had been here for about a week. One evening, we received a call asking if we wanted to reserve dinner. Normally, we just walk in and there is no issue getting a table. Over the phone, they said the next available time was 9 p.m., which seemed strange.|We decided to go down at 8 p.m. without a booking and were seated immediately. The restaurant was half empty. I do not even know what that was about, but it was weird. If we had actually waited until 9 p.m. like they said, it would have made no sense. I even asked the person at the restaurant if it was okay to eat at that time instead of 9, and they said, of course you can.||Beach Service|Beach service stops around 3 p.m. After that, if you want to pay your bill, you have to walk to the bar, remember your table number, and pay there.|If you do not know where to go or how to do this, you can end up walking around random areas near the beach just trying to find someone to take payment.|One afternoon, I arrived, pressed the service button, and waited forty-five minutes. Nothing. I pressed it again, and a man shouted from across the beach, ā€œYes, yes, I’m coming!ā€ in a tone that sounded more like frustration than service.|When he eventually came over, I thought maybe he worked off tips, so I gave him a ten. His attitude softened immediately. I ordered two drinks — one of them still arrived wrong. Even after tipping.||Overall Impression|The front desk are some of the best hotel staff I’ve ever come across. They help you with everything, they’re patient, and they genuinely care. Joanna in particular was fantastic.|But behind the scenes, it’s a massive mess. Every other department seems to be running on a different schedule, and guests end up paying the price for that disorganization.|The upgrade was generous and the property itself is impressive, but behind the scenes the hotel feels completely uncoordinated. Orders get lost, communication breaks down, and guests are left waiting or confused. Every department seems to operate separately, and it shows.|There is so much potential here. The location is great, the facilities are solid, and the staff seem to care, but the management needs to completely rethink how the departments communicate and operate.|I genuinely feel bad leaving this review because we were upgraded to a room that usually costs thousands more, which was a generous gesture. But the reality is I was still paying somewhere around €10,000 for a two-week stay. At that price point, you expect consistent service and proper coordination.||Overall Rating: ⭐⭐ (3 out of 5)|Beautiful property and exceptional front-desk staff, but the service is disorganized and doesn’t meet the standard of a luxury hotel.|It’s not a bad place — we could have easily stayed a few more weeks — but it’s an expensive experience that never quite delivers on its promise, and it’s frustrating to feel you’re not receiving the level of service...

We stayed here during the last week of August 2025. We booked 2 rooms next to each other on the 3rd floor. The hotel is built on a hill and reception is on the 6th floor with the pool on floor 1 and the beach on floor 0. ||The hotel is quite new, opened in 2022. The whole resort is very clean, well presented, well staffed and has a luxurious feel. The resort is huge. The hotel is only a part of it, there are also many many apartment and houses included. There is also a tennis court and playground. A long walk along the cliff overlooking the sea goes on for 2km and reaches a lovely seated area with plenty of seatings among the olive grove. ||The hotel is very upscaled. The huge reception area have deep velvets sofas and a bar. Leading out onto the veranda are 3 huge areas again with deep outdoor sofas. From here you can see the ocean and is the perfect place to watch the setting sun and sip some bubbly. Check in is very easy. There is valet service for your rented vehicle. Or you can order taxis easily. All parts of the hotel are spacious and clean. The public areas are spotless, the toilets are all marbled and are the size of a Tokyo apartment.||The rooms are huge, we booked one with a balcony facing the pool and beyond it the sea view. This is also the view of the setting sun. The bathrooms have double sinks, shower and bath. Again the bathrooms are huge. There are plenty of cupboard space with bathrobes and house slippers included. Housekeeping is good, although can be a little haphazard. Depending on where your room is on the corridor you may get an early or later clean. They did NOT hoover the room for the whole week. There is also a turndown service around 7pm where they leave you a cute chocolate along with extra towels etc you may need. ||This hotel is geared towards families. There is a huge pool with plenty of sun beds. There are also 2 shallow pools for babies and toddlers. The main pool is 1.4m deep. There is a lifeguard available dressed all in red. The sun beds are covered with a towel every morning and guests who arrive are given an extra towel. I was super pleased to see that the hideous practice of reserving sun beds was not present. Most people were pretty chilled and arrived about 9.30am onward. The pool is very clean and the water is heated even in August. It was a lovely temperature. You can order from the poolside both food and drinks and the quality of the food was really good. Service may be a little slow during lunchtime but overall it was good. Some people preferred to walk to the pool bar to place their order directly. ||The pool can get a little noisy and crowed with older children and adults during lunch time. This hotel is geared towards kids so it can get noisy with crying and screaming. The hotel also allows smoking poolside which I do not appreciate. ||Breakfast is amazing! The selection is one of the largest I’ve ever seen and caters for many different nationalities. The coffees are also very good. All staff are attentive and warm. Again, many many babies and children will be here and it does get quite noisy later in the morning.||The beach is beautiful and about 5 mins walk away and very easily reached. It is a public beach but the numerous beanbags and cabanas are for hotel guest only. The hotel also provide these floating boards that you can use to float in the sea, and this can be very pleasurable. The sea is calmer in the mornings, but please be aware that under the water is many rocky areas so watch where you step.||We ate at most of the restaurants at the resort. Kohili is right on the beach (on cliff overlooking). Honestly, lunch here is heavenly. It wasn’t too busy during last week of August and you can look at the sea whilst dining. The menu here is not extensive but food is good. The portions are large, the kids’ portions could easily fill me up. I noticed that the menu for the Kohili is the same as the one at poolside and also for room service. Kohili gets quite busy at night and loud too. The school hosts many events. Sapori is tasty too. Bonsai was a little bit of a let down. The Teppanyaki (quite expensive) was disappointing, the show was good but the food was very average. The sushi was very average too and was on a par with the supermarket bought sushi from London. ||There is a clothes shop (very expensive and fancy), a gift shop (very useful, give it a look) and an ice cream shop with the most delicious ice cream, coffees and milkshakes. ||There is a games room full of PS5s and other consoles. Perfect for a gang of teenagers. |The gym is extensive and well equipped with a cold indoor pool and hot tub nearby (for +16yrs only). I didn't try the spa or the hairdressers. ||If you don't want to be tied to the restaurants the hotel provides, and lets face it they are very expensive and not a huge menu, then get a hire car. There are some amazing restaurants within...

We are currently staying at the hotel. I have to say it’s gone downhill considerably! Except for the bar staff (which i will comment on further). On checkin no welcome drink! I’m still confused to why so many staff off reception! So many staff but no welcome drink! Really! And also not recognised/member as returning guest. I think that says a lot in itself. Hotel manage and senior member of staff on. Had to pay in full which I’ve never had here before. We have stayed here previous many times through hotels.com but became a member and now book direct. Finally got to the room, massively disappointed floor was dirty! My white socks went in the bin! That’s how black the was. You can tell there’s some changes to the hotel as the room/rooms are not what they use to be like. I’m assuming they have different cleaners based on what we have/seen. The rooms are just looking unclean and worn, very disappointing for the amount we have paid for a premium family suite (certainly not worth half of it). Very disappointing we were not recognised as a returning guest. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned again, but still not great. Which is actually not acceptable for the level of service that should be given based on what you pay. Also today our chocolates have gone missing I’m assuming the cleaner had enjoyed them maybe?? But they are no longer here. Went to the pool bar for a drink, absolutely shocking lol! Waiting prob 20 minutes and one of girls said she be across soon and just continued to wonder around like a little lost confused puppy. I had to go to the bar to order a drink which I’d expect from a 4 star not a 5! Cap says it’s the top hotel with top service! That’s not what I’ve seen this time! Two days in and at this point it will be the last time for us!

We won’t be coming back.

I do have two positive lol! The lady that does rooms service, she’s lovely (sorry I forgot your name) but you are lovely and remember us every time. Thank you for you kindness and great service

And Miss Fanni you are by far the best ā¤ļø, every time we come the bar you are fantastic and on it!!! You see our drinks are low and you ensue we don’t go dry, which is how it should be. You are a lovely person and fantastic with our little one. What I don’t understand though is why there’s only two or three people on the bar with loads of people!! And then a football team on reception standing road doing nothing. For me this is frustrating as this was the industry I was in and see so many issue that can simply be rectified. So Fanni I appreciate you running round like a crazy person to ensure everyone has a full glass! But if it was me I’d be pulling some off reception to help. Thank you for being kind and lovely as always and the other bar staff! But of course Fanni in our opinion shows exceptional service every time.

Unfortunately this time no other positives, beach restaurant slow, loads of staff but not organised well. Second drink I ordered a vodka 7up and ended up with just a 7up! Fantastic. Explained to the waiter 10 minutes later, still no vodka. Had to ask someone else who bought it but I do have to say they were all very friendly and the entertainment was good.

I will re-edit when we leave as I’m sure based on our current issues there will be more. Cap you need to up your game, or get...
