The first page of the menu will tell you what this place is about and the owner really delivers on what he promises: he would rather serve nothing than serve food which isn’t fresh! For me this should be the ethos of every business serving food.
I had a swordfish steak, which was honestly, quite out of this world. It was fresh and beautifully cooked, which is all you need for perfection in a meal. This was accompanied with chips which were clearly made from fresh potatoes and beautifully fried, if only you could get chips like this everywhere! To drink I had a gorgeous pint of Keo on tap, which was perfectly cold and crisp. For dessert I had their baklava which was easily the best baklava I had in my 5 days in Cyprus. I cannot eat large meals, but I could eat their baklava until I explode!
Aside from the food, this is a beautiful place to sit outside, watch the sun go down and enjoy the sounds of the birds whilst enjoying your meal and stroke the local black and white cat whilst you enjoy a hot beverage afterwards.
The staff are lovely people and genuinely interesting to speak to. I will no doubt return here at some point in my life, probably when I run out of the local honey I bought here which is just as delicious as...

Next to all the prawns & fish dishes they have put V for vegetarian, so they have no idea what even a vegetarian doesn’t eat. I did explain but they were making out I was wrong, when in the dictionary it clearly states what a vegetarian and vegan eats and they both don’t eat fish. A vegetarian eats no meat and fish is a meat, as it comes from a flesh of another animal of course.
I can’t believe they were trying to say I was wrong when I was trying to help them write the correct labelling on their dishes as many vegetarians would see that and walk out 😅. If something is an actual word and in the dictionary, that’s the fact. A simple dictionary or a google search will show that only pescatarians or meat eaters will eat fish, vegetarians and vegans don’t.
I had a potato chilli in the end, which was okay but the potato was very dry, maybe because they didn’t use butter, but they could of used olive oil but...

We had something small to bit - as starter the halloumi fries, which is deep fried halloumi cheese with honey and chilli. It's not spicy at all but very decadent and really delicious. As next the pork kebab in pita, rather huge portion, nice fresh vegetable salad, the meat was spiced perfectly, some pieces were a bit fatty, which you can expect for such meal.
Freddo espresso was strong, as it should be ;) We ordered some lemonade, but as we couldn't finish all of it, they offered the rest for us to go in a cup, which we really...
