Nett's Barbecue — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

Proper barbecue is one of the few things I really miss from the US. Growing up in the South, BBQ is an institution. You can imagine my joy at discovering Nett's BBQ. While there are many places in Brno that might claim to have barbecue, Nett's is the real thing. It's been years since I had BBQ at this level.

The first time I popped by here, pulled pork sandwiches were on the menu (which rotates every two weeks or so). Wow - just imagine melt-in-your-mouth tender shredded pork, tangy barbecue sauce (not that sludge from Jack Daniels that lesser restaurants seem to want to sneak in their food to call it BBQ), perfectly creamy coleslaw, all sandwiched between a homemade brioche bun. Literally food heaven.

Went back today after a few more pulled pork sandwiches, as the menu was due to change to beef brisket. Once again, outstanding sandwich! Perfectly cooked, so-tender-it-almost-falls-apart brisket sandwiches with a tangy relish that accentuates but doesn't overpower the meat and brioche. We ordered some Carolina mustard sauce with our grilled potatoes, too, and now I'm thinking I might need to order more just to put on everything else I eat, from chicken to Oreos to breakfast cereal. Just the right amount of sweet, hot, and sour.

Long story short - If Nett's was in Texas, there'd be a line full of giant pickup trucks stuffed with gun-toting cowboy types waiting to get a bite. It's that good. You NEED to...

Found this place through slevomat and went with a couple of friends. The place is intimate but chill. Everything is made and served by the owner who is very passionate. We had 4x BBQ Platter and then had additional 3x BBQ Platter. The brisket was the best meat ive ever tasted in me life Smoky savoury tender juicy. Pulled pork was really good not overcooked as it is common and with very jice sauce . Third meat gets rotated, this day they had shredded turkey with alabama style bbq sauce You get all the sides with the bbq platter which are all spot on(favs are the homemade pickles and homemade brioche) You also get 6 sauces to accompany your meals (ranch, alabama bbq, louisiana hot sauce, chipotle, carolina hot sauce, netts bbq sauce) which you can use however youd like. All of this will be presented to you in a fun way by the owner himself They also have good local beer

Nett’s Barbecue is a single-room bistro that primarily offers meat dishes, with salads and vegetable sides. All is in-house made including six types of sauces, delicious sauces including chocolate and herb dressings.

The most featureful meal is the BBQ platter with US prime brisk, Iberica pork and pulled pork meat. All acompanied by fresh buns and grilled potatoes. The portions are big enough. The meat is top mild and super delicious. We were here in a group of 15 and everyone were satisfied. ✌🏻
