We went there today super late. All other restaurants near our hotel was closed. But they were so nice and courteous and gave us the menus in English. The beer was great and the food was amazing. My husband had the wild boar dish with gnocchi and I had the pork dish with beans and potatoes (they looked like hash brown cake slices). Both dishes were exceptionally good. The sauce on the wild boar dish was amazing so was the sauce in the pork dish with beans. We really enjoyed it and appreciate their kindness in serving us (the last guests). The female server who served us spoke English and was very nice. It is needless to say that everyone else was nice too. It was a good thing that they charge on credit cards except American express. Read moreVery close to big housing estate this location is surprisingly calm and traditional. Restaurant is in renovated building of probably old farmhause and there is a pension connected to it. We were celebrating there birthday with family, so we booked our places, but it seemed, that in that particular Saturday we would manage even without it. Service was very friendly and helpful. They immediately brought a vase when they saw we are carrining flowers. It was also great, that there are swings in the yard and we were lucky and also inflating castle, so kids were happy to play during the waiting time. Food was very good. There are not many meals, but all seems great and it is easy to pick. We had pulled duck and goulash and both was very good. It was interesting, that the dumplings were dryfried somehow. They also offer own beer from Choteboř brewery which adds well...

For beer drinkers I would recommend their own brand 11 degrees Kastrol lager, although they also serve Pilsner if that is your preference.
Service is generally good, although they can sometimes get quite busy. It is wise to book if you are looking to go at popular times, but weeknights and off-peak at weekends you can normally...
