What happened to Hantwerk?! Last summer they served delicious food, but after visiting yesterday I was very disappointed. My boyfriend and I booked a table a few days in advance and were seated inside next to a large group of people. The acoustics were a big problem and because of this (and the stomach ache that came with the food) we ended up leaving as soon as we gave up on finishing our meal.

The food was NOT good. We both ordered french fries and a toast with 2 beers on the side. The beers were fine. The toasts were without taste. The french fries had no taste either, despite being the greasiest french fries we've both ever tasted. On top of this, the food came with a terrible stomach ache for both of us, even though we barely touched our french fries.

I've had good experiences here before and if I want a beer outside, near the ocean, I might still consider this place again. But I am not sure this place is worth returning to for food or inside seating after...

Quality food in solid portions at a place that feels generous and welcoming.

Customers have to order and pay at the bar.

The fish and chips was excellent, with high quality fish. We were offered a taste of the wide selection of beers and home-made sodas. The staff were professional and pleasant. Even on a hot day, the temperature was chill and nice.

The only negative is that at some point the background music switched from what sounded like genuine local Danish rap to hectic commercial latino music.

We went for the book launch of love city ..it was my first time there unfortunately.i should have gone earlier.. The space is great informal but cozy the beer selection is great lots of taps and different beers from them selves and others ..staff friendly and a real good buzz about the place .the food is great and I'm not just saying this because I know the boys but it was great it was good to see them doing something on there own but still with a hint of restaurant et there .. excellent night can't wait...
