Some hits, some misses
Ta-Yay offers friendly service and a menu with potential, but the food quality is inconsistent. On the positive side, the Massaman curry and Tom Kha Gai were delicious—clearly made by someone who loves these dishes and understands their flavors. Unfortunately, other offerings didn’t measure up.
The Pad Nam Prik Pao lacked the fresh, fragrant ingredients that make Thai cuisine special and instead tasted overwhelmingly of Maggi. The biggest disappointment was the chicken satay: deep-fried to the point of being hard to chew, and the peanut sauce seemed off—bubbly and sour in a way that didn’t feel fresh or intentional.

Kokken smagte maden med en ske og skiftede ikke til en ny, da hun skulle smage igen. Handsker blev ikke skiftet fra da hun talte telefon og betjente kassen plus kokken ikke brugte hårnet, hvilket også skal bruges i et køkken når man betjener mad. Hvilket er meget uhygiejnisk. Kyllingen smagte forkert. Hende som betjente os var meget aggressiv i sin tone mod os, hvilket gjorde betjeningen meget ubehageligt. I mens vi ville bestille tog hun telefonen og tog imod en andens bestilling. Og en af os har fået meget dårlig mave, dvs tyndskid. Ønsker ikke at bestille mad...
