Pico Pizza Nordvest — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We visited Pico Pizza Nordvest based on a recommendation, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. We had reserved a table for two to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and specifically requested a quieter spot. Despite this, we were seated right next to the entrance and a large group. Only after asking were we moved to a table in the back.

From that point on, it felt like nobody was responsible for us anymore. We waited 45 minutes just to place our order – and only managed to do so by loudly getting the staff’s attention. After that, it took another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Not even water was brought to us. We were simply ignored the entire time.

When the pizzas finally arrived after a total of 1.5 hours, we were both completely frustrated and honestly just wanted to leave. We had the Trio Pizza, which tasted okay, but all the pizzas were completely drenched in oil, making them very heavy and unappetizing.

We left shortly after and agreed: we will never return to Pico Pizza. This was by far our worst dining experience...

I had a Pico Trio, with a Margherita pizza, a Spicy Lamb pizza, and a Sloppy Joe pizza.

The pizzas, in spite of their size, are traditional Italian pizzas, perfectly cooked. They tasted very good, and it was obvious that great care was put into them. The staff was friendly and I did like the atmosphere of the restaurant.

If you're anything like me, you're hesitating because you don't know if those small pizzas will be enough food. I am happy to report that the Trio offer let me satiated. The place feels like a bit of a scam. 160kr for three small pizzas that are less filling than a standard-sized pizza you would pay 100-120kr for in a restaurant.

Yes, the dough is nice - a good old sourdough base that nowadays most decent pizza restaurants in Copenhagen offer. The toppings are average though. The setting feels more like a lunch time diner / cantine.
