Royal Cuisine — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

If possible i would give this place zero stars. We arrived at 8 in the evening, got a table, ordered drinks and went to the buffet. The sushi was okay, byt the buffet was almost empty, the meats were cold, the onions rings, shrimps and chicken was sucky and oily, and cold as well. The one of the sodas was warm.. We addressed it politely to the waiter, who sent the manneger/owner to our table. Instead of accepting the critics, he started to argument that it was crisp and warm at 5 when the restaurant opened. We asked why the standards were way down if you came at 8 instead of 5, when the price was the same. Then the manneger/owner/chef leaned against the table opposite ours, made laughs and commented that he never heard about anyone who had negative comments on the food, raised his voice, asked us to go to the other tables and aks them about the food, still with raised voice, a laughs and a constant almost ignorant attitude that showed he surely was the one who knew best and we were idiots who didn't know anything about buffet or food... well, we both are ine the restaurant business, one as head waiter and 1 as earlier chef and know manneger of 3 restaurants. So lots of know how, and especially about how too handle complaintmens and how to avoid the awareness and making sure the guest still have a nice experience. We didn't eat the small amount on our plates and left only paying for...

The price-performance ratio is excellent, especially if you´re a tourist from south of the border and find Copenhagen a bit expensive. I don´t usually eat buffet sushi, but theirs is really good! Fairly good selection of seafood for preparing on the spot, I never tried razor clams before. The service was friendly, hygiene was impeccable with gloves and disinfectant to be used before loading one´s plate.

I do think a decor upgrade would do wonders to this place. The current is a bit outdated to say the least. And yes, some disinfectant napkins in the bathroom, for apparently, some guests do not know how to use a bathroom properly and leave dirty seats, with shoe sole...

Disappointed with this place. We decided to try it since the website says it closes at 9:30. We got there about 8. Was told the buffet closed in one hour which was fine. There was only one other table there. They decided not to cook anything new and everything that was out was already old. I completely understand they was closing soon but they could've at least asked us if there was anything we would like in particular so they can make a small batch for us. Ended just staying for 30 minutes since there was nothing to eat and paying about $200 dkk each person plus...
