Mair´s — Restaurant in Fredericia Municipality

Went with mum and dad. Was a very cute place - clean and with bright, open and fun decor. Service was great - Mair's great mood and friendly welcome set the tone very well along side the funky background music. I loved that my dad could have a schnitzel the size of his plate and my mum could have vegetarian while I had a vegan dish - and all dishes would be awesome, flavourful and not just served as an obligation to those who prefer the no-meat option. That was the plan, anyway, but dad was tempted by the Saltimbuca, mum by a stir fry with crispy grasshopper and I had black pasta with pesto and walnuts. We shared the pumpkin dip and bread to start. The food was incredibly good, we got one of the Mair's interpretation of the smørrebrød & the Walk of Shame:) Definitely try the Walk of Shame if you are a fan of bacon end eggs and you are around! 🥓🍳

Also had some really good irish coffees, that we enjoyed in the cozy cafe. Awesome music, insanely cool decor & art and last but not least really good vibes. Super nice staff, super service quality!

This is a great place !

Nice and cozy seating area inside and outside, with the inside even decorated with some artwork on the walls. The food menu is a bit small, with prices on the higher side. It seems they are going for fewer items but done better, which makes sense. The schnitzel is very good, and Im definitely coming back for that another time. The service was impressive too.
