Havfruen Fiskehus Xi v/Mads Westphal — Restaurant in Frederikshavn Municipality

Wow, last dinging experience on our trip and i it was the absolute worst.

Ordered a salamon with hollandise sauce in a fish restaurant that mostly makes fish, a very simple dish to make.

you have to go in to order yourself, the kids making the food are sitting on the kitchen desk where food is prepeared in the back.

Salamon was very dry and tasteless, the hollandise sauce was not made in house, it was 100% some fabricated box sauce on a tube.

the salad was very boring and not at all what i would call worth eating, so it was not eaten.

most of the resturant in this harbour erea seem like quite low quality on a second look so for better food it probably recommended to...

One of the restaurants in Skagen harbourfront. Prices a bit high for what you get, but at the same level as other nearby restaurants.

The atmosphere is in top..the food tastes good and they serve beer and wine to the food. The service is OK..i recommend this place if you like to sit and watch life go by..

Update 2024: You can order online thaifood for takeaway at Havfruen. This thaifood is the best I have tasted outside Thailand, my very very best...

Was pretty disappointed with the food quality….specially the calamari - such a thick coating and did not taste fresh. The food and drinks need to be ordered at the counter and paid beforehand. So this is not a cozy restuarant...
