Saeb Siam — Restaurant in Middelfart Municipality

Our second time eating at Saeb Siam, and we're absolutely delighted, with full bellies.

We lived in Asia for 20yrs, married in Thailand and holidayed in Phuket, Samui, and Bangkok every year. Love Thai food. Since returning to Europe we've missed authentic Thai flavours, especially the heat. One word with the co-owner, Jonas, and his wife and co-owner, Bonyarat served us Tom Yum with real Thai flavour and heat. The green curry was spectacular and tear-inducing, and all of it washed down with Singha beers.

It's a small place, seats about 20, the menu is not huge, the restaurant some Thai ambience, but it's relatively open in a cafe/restaurant style. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and I cannot recommend Saeb Siam strongly enough. We...

Went in to ask for a table. After a while someone hade the time to talk to me. No free tables. Then I asked to order takeaway. They didnt have time to take my order and said that I had to order online (while I was standing in the restaurang??!). After placing the order for 5 people incl. 3 hungry kids - I could not choose a pickup-time earlier than 1 hour later. When I asked the waiter again - he confirmed that I couldnt get the food until at least 1 hour later. When I asked if he really thought that we should stand there and wait that long - he simply replied ”you can wait somewhere else also”… Complete...

Auf der Suche nach einem geöffneten Lokal sind wir heute hier gelandet. Direkt nach Ladeneröffnung um 16 Uhr zum Glück noch einen Tisch für fünf Personen erhalten, der extra bereit gestellt wurde. Vielen Dank dafür! Die Karte klein und übersichtlich. Finde ich super! Eine englischsprachige Version der Speisekarte gibt es ebenfalls. Für die Kinder gab es ebenfalls drei Gerichte zur Auswahl: Gebratene Nudeln mit Gemüse sowie gebratener Reis mit Gemüse. Wahlweise mit Hähnchen. Und Pommes+Hähnchen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Toll gewürzt. Einfach nur köstlich! Würde ich hier wohnen, wäre ich wahrscheinlich Stammgast 😂 Die Atmosphäre war ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich! Brachten zwei extra Teller für meine Kinder. Die Toiletten sind großzügig und sauber. Die Seife riecht lecker 😄 Das Lokal habe ich bereits weiterempfohlen.
