Røde Port Bistro — Restaurant in Roskilde Municipality

Lovely place that combines brewpub with a cosy traditional Danish restaurant and a bottleshop. The staff is very friendly and helpful, service is swift and with a smile. The open face sandwiches, smørrebrød, are small, but highly stacked and the 2-3 a person recommended by the staff is not unreasonable. It would be a nice gesture with a discount when ordering more than one. But as a small and relatively new business getting an income is necessary, so reasonably priced. Beer selection is excellent, and you can taste everything on tap. Recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner. Or just a beer! Snacks were available, such as nuts, cheese platter...

My friend and I came to eat here and play bingo one evening, and we had a lovely time. The food was good, I had the pork slider and oven roasted potatoes, along with a gateau Marcel cake. I especially enjoyed the potatoes and the cake! I find it hard to find good cider here in Denmark, so I was also happy that they had a very nice dry cider available from France. My friend enjoyed their selection of beers. As for the service, the staff were very friendly and food was quick to arrive.

Kan anbefale den “Røde Munk” men det særlige er, at man kan få lov at smage på øllene før man beslutter sig.

Deres smagebræt kan klart anbefales. Stemning er hyggelig og autentisk. Musikken i baggrunden skaber en god ramme for stedet.

Far og søn levere den bedste betjening og elsker når man spørger til øl varianterne, at de ved alt om de forskellige øl de servere. Tak for den gode oplevelse, vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage en anden gang.

Btw priserne er i top 220kr for mad og drikke det kan man ikke...
