OREGANO — Restaurant in Higüey

💙💚 LUNCH AT OREGANO:

Just returned from a lovely week's stay at Excellence El Carmen and will be writing a full trip report in the next few days but wanted to give a special shout to the LUNCH staff at OREGANO!

We LOVED having lunch at Oregano so much that we went 4 times….We loved the grilled salmon, tuna and salads, and had them daily!

Eddy who is new to the team at Oregano and EEC was amazing! This young man was so sweet, welcoming and he provided wonderful service with great attention to detail (eg. chilled wine, extra lime always a filled glass, etc.).

Vanessa, our hostess, was delightful and even went so far to place lovely flowers on our table daily.

The staff were under the expert management of Amable who was so professional and lovely. They welcomed us warmly every day, made us feel like family, and truly made our meals memorable.

Kudos to the chef who grilled salmon and tuna perfectly each time! He even made us a special plantain dish to try.

If you have not given it a try....The setting is beautiful, the staff amazing, and I think that the seafood dishes are the stars...
