Silk City — Restaurant in Higüey

The restaurant is nice, but the Hibachi grill is not. You do not need reservations for the restaurant, but you do for the Habachi grill tables. Absolutely the worst Habachi experience and food I have ever had. The cook was a better drummer than cook, and there is only so much clanging of spatulas you can listen to. The rice was very oily, as was the beef, chicken, and shrimp. The shrimp was overcooked and tough and very small. There was no show with balancing eggs or onion Volcans. The cook prepared the food to loud clanging spatulas and then did nothing. We had to ask for soy sauce and water. Part of Asian cooking is that all the food is prepared bite-sized, which is why you can use chop sticks. We had a fork and knife no spoon. I would not waste a dinner at the Habachi grill at...

Today it was, “little big” “dissapointment” because this restaurant takes reservation. For unknown reason to me. maybe is all about the show. Show was great, but the food is break. Nothing from the cooking was an authentic to compare an asian cousine. Meat was a gummy and sample of vegetables was sour than should be. And im not speak about rest of it. Sorry...
