I don't get all the good reviews here, and I unfortunately did not have a great experience. I hate to leave bad reviews but I left here with a very negative impression. Our server did not speak English , which is to be expected and even when we spoke Spanish, she was not helpful or accomodating. They were out of the few rhing we wanted, including their house cocktail as well as one of the daily specials that had just been served to the table next to us. The food was just OK, nothing special.

When the bill arrived, we were charged the wrong price for one of the dishes, and when we questioned the waitress she claimed that I ordered something different from the special on the wall that I had asked for. We ended up paying the overcharged amount, as there was no way to resolve the issue due to language issues. I was then handed a receipt without the credit card signature portion and no pen. When I asked for a pen to sign it, she handed me the CORRECT copy, which she had kept, which is quite suspect. ...

This place was awful! DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Not only was the customer service poor. The food was not good. When you come to DR looking for authentic food you want just that. First the waitress did not show us anything about what is offered. I ordered the shrimp with garlic I asked did rice come with the entree I was told yes. Then I was bought out 12 little shrimp with tons of butter no rice, I asked where is the rice? With an attitude I was brought out white under cooked rice and a little bit of beans which was lare so now our shrimp was cold for waiting for the rice? The bill came and it was a higher price than even the menu with tax. This was a absolute terrible experience will not EVER go back and the staff was not...

We came back to this restaurant twice and we ordered the same every time. The fried snapper and the garlic grouper. 😋 The operators are very accommodating. My favorite drink was the ziba cocktail. It's like a mojito but with passion fruit 😋 We didn't feel rushed, the Plaza is very safe and well kept. Everyone here was very nice. One of my favorite places.

One thing: cash is better as there is an 18% tax!!! If you don't know this it can ruin your mood lol. We Found out the hard way! Lol!
