TLDR; GOT FOOD POISONING AND THE RESTAURANT REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT
I’m going to say right off the bat that the restaurant is disappointingly underwhelming for the outrageously expensive price. The promotion on social media blows it out of the water. The food was mediocre at best. The entertainment was really just a subpar dance session or singing every once in a while. The only compliment I have to give is the decor, which was very creative and thought out. The service was okay. Maybe this is me being critical since I live near Philly and NYC so I’ve been to top tier restaurants with unique dining experiences just like the restaurant claims to be. BUT even then, the prices of these restaurants do not come anywhere near The Blind Butcher. I wouldn’t be this upset if the price was around $50 USD. I honestly wish I’ve gone to one of the included restaurants in the resort which happened to have better food than the Blind Butcher. To make matters worse, I ended up getting food poisoning. Addressed this with the staff the next day and was told it wasn’t possible because their restaurant’s health guidelines are raised to the “highest standard”. There are no other explanation as to why I was experiencing awful symptoms three hours after dining there.
Anyway, just needed to share to hopefully prevent another person falling victim to this restaurant robbing them of their money and a week of good health. Please save yourself the time and...
Read moreWe had so much fun at the Blind butcher tonight! First, the service is phenomenal; we were never without drinks, they were so attentive, and they made some excellent mocktails for my husband who doesn’t drink. The food was so good. We had the crispy oysters, the prawns, and the prime rib empanadas for appetizers. They were all excellent. We shared the tomahawk steak and truffle potatoes, and it was cooked to perfection. It comes with three sauces and my favorite was a green one with onions. Lastly, the dessert was so creative! It’s a monkey statue filled with chocolate ice cream and nuts with coffee cotton candy hair. I HAVE to mention the entertainment. They perform often, like every 15 minutes, and the performers do a full costume change for each song. They had a lead singer who was out of this world, and another performer playing the trumpet. These men and women are truly incredible singing and dancing all evening. We initially weren’t sure about spending one of our evenings of vacation at this restaurant, but I’m so glad we did because it’s been a highlight of...
