Asadero Doña Pula — Restaurant in Santiago de los Caballeros

Our experience at Doña Pula restaurant in Santiago fell far below our expectations, prompting us to leave a disappointing review. Despite the extensive publicity throughout the city and airport, our meal was anything but satisfying.

The dishes, including the rabo encendido and alitas a la leña, failed to impress. The avocado in the avocado salad was notably underripe, making it nearly impossible to bite into. Moreover, the concerning presence of flies hovering over other patrons' food was not only unsightly but also raised sanitation concerns.

Equally disappointing was the level of customer service, which was notably poor throughout our visit. The lack of attention and responsiveness further marred our dining experience.

Regrettably, we won't be returning to Doña Pula, and we hope this review serves as constructive feedback for improvement...

Food was great 😋there was one instance where they served blood sausage but didn't have any flavor so the server spoke with they manager and she came to our table offered something different and explained about the issue how that barely happens, tested another batch.

I mean call that amazing service, she then came to our table again to check up on us that level of dedication is just amazing.

Now onto the food, we are ordered some palangana, didn't have much Concón but was excellent and the goat was very good, soft tasty.

Also a serving of coat with Moro (rice and beans) and a serving of Aguacate. Amounts were ridiculously large, we had to take some to go.

Well let’s start by saying the waitress didn’t accommodate us with the table we wanted. I was very dissatisfied I didn’t like that cause we where 7 ppl and they wanted to cramp us in two small tables. Now let’s talk about the food- first I order a burger and I wanted Batata fries and they also didn’t want to substitute the fries for something else.. like why not! I am a paying customer and I can’t get what I want.then they bring my family member the wrong order and they wanted to argue with us about the order and could you believe they didn’t want to switch the plate for us!
