First Pot Shabu Shabu is an Asian restaurant in Cacicazgos, an area not overly blessed with good restaurants, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is decorated in a oriental minimalist style which works well in creating a clean fresh space and a calming ambience. Service was friendly and efficient. Shabu Shabu is a cooking concept I haven't encountered here in DR previously and involves you boiling your choice of meat and vegetable over your individual hot plate set into the table. There is a wide selection of ingredients to choose from to make your own dipping sauce for that food. They also offer a range of other Asian starters and mains, plus rice and vegetable dishes. Read moreThis is a new restaurant and I believe the first of it’s type in Santo Domingo. The decor is simple yet elegant with many private rooms and also some larger dining spaces. Perfect for lunch or dinner meetings with business colleagues or friends or family. There are many different choices on the menu for the main dish and a large plate of varied vegetables comes with all options. All of the ingredients are of the highest quality. We had beef, chicken and shrimp and they were fantastic especially with the dipping sauce that you can make yourself to suit your individual taste. Delicious food in a fun...

But as a group we tried also Boston Steak and Ribeye Certified. There is a bar with a variety of condiments and sauces to mix and make one with your own preference. Very interesting. We also ordered rice, noodles and fried tofu. Everything was...
