Gastronomía Mexicana — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

The place has no parking lot, you have to leave your car in the street. Even that me and my husband were alone in the restaurant, the service was not efficient. We asked entrance and main plate together, the brought the entrance first, and 1h15m I asked for the bill because they never look at the table, they never asked if we need anything else. Food was what you'd expect from a Mexican place. Service was awful.

But we arrived and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table (not because they had no table available but because they didn't pay attention to us and didn't clean the available tables)

Got the pulled beef chimichanga. The smallest one I have ever had. It was baked rather fried. The taste was pretty good. The chips and salsa were gratis. Salsa was warm and tasted like from a jar. Chips tasted like store bought kept under a heat lamp. The decor was on theme though the chair was uncomfortable. Service was ok.
