City Market — Local services in Santo Domingo

Everything you need and more. Easy access, great product selection, excellent service and they have a nice terrace where you can have a coffee, a few beers or have a snack.

This is one of the places that always pops into my head everytime I have to run out and buy something in a rush. I always call ahead and ask if they have what I am looking for. If they do, they are kind enough to save it for me at the cashier register. This is great if your always in a rush like me.

Another nice thing about City Market is that they have an excellent wine and spirits selection. Also they carry many of the popular craft beers and they are always very cold! Even the wines and champagnes, they have a good selection that is in a cooler. This is very practical if you want to consume then soon!

They also have a great frozen meat section that includes local and imported certified angus cuts.

I also enjoy the Dips and Cheese section where you can find great choices and at an affortable price.

Plus the owners are always present...

Great neighborhood market. Has all the essentials for a reasonable price, including a deli counter. Try the freshly made tomato, bean, chicken, vegetable salads, and even the cheviche. Voy a empezar por la sorpresa, no me imaginaba lo que iba a encontrar: a la vista una baldosas de piso que son en si un espectaculo. El orden de los productos habla de detalle, buen gusto y excelente variedad en importados. Bien hecho hasta aca. Luego nos sumergimos a probar su punto de delicateses, empiecen por las empanaditas y solicitenlas calientes, apruebo la de queso con chorizo. Luego para picar este domingo, compre dips de ensalada rusa (me ha recordado el sabor de la abuela) y de berenjenas. Llamo mi atencion la variedad de cervezas, como para armar un cervezaso. Conversardo con el mozo de la seccion delicateses me informo que preparan bandejas de picadera para llevar. Por ello decidi conseguirles el numero de whatsapp/delivery para que llamen, consulten la oferta. Muy atentos en general....
