Fantastic food and cold beer. We were a party of 6 for my first visit and we all loved our food. I had the Pescado en Salsa Manabita con Mariscos (fried fish, shrimp, squid, and clams in an amazing sauce). I also tried the ceviche and it was amazing also. My wife and I went back today and had the same thing. It is close, but the meals here were the best I had during our visit here. This is a small place but is right across the street from the beach. Service was good, did not wait too long, the food was not impressive at all. The seafood cazuela I ordered was so liquidy, not tasty and even though the seafood presentation was good, was impossible to get into the crab leg, as it was awfully hard. My partners fish in garlic sauce was really not appealing, with a fish spreading on it (garlic sauce). I bit dissatisfied with the food taste. The food is not representative of real ecuadorean food. It is bland and doesn’t have the consistency of the native preparation of the dishes that are served daily.
