What an absolute gem! We loved this restaurant so much we went back two days in a row, and if we had more time in Luxor, we would have happily kept coming back again and again.

As someone who is pregnant, I’ve been very nervous about eating out while travelling. From the moment we arrived, the team at Paris made me feel completely comfortable, safe, and cared for. They reassured me, made thoughtful suggestions, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt good about what I was eating. That peace of mind was priceless.

A special shoutout to Masfa, who looked after us both days. His service was honestly exceptional — professional, friendly, and full of warmth. On our second visit, he greeted us with the biggest smile and a genuine “welcome back,” which instantly made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. He got our food out quickly, checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and even surprised us with a sample of a new dish they’re adding to the menu. It was such a thoughtful touch and showed how much they truly care about their guests’ experience.

The food itself is outstanding — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you can tell that care and quality are top priorities here. Combined with the atmosphere, which is relaxed yet welcoming, this is the kind of place that makes you want to linger and enjoy every moment.

In a city full of restaurants, Paris really stands out. Not only is the food among the best we had in Luxor, but the service is, without a doubt, the very best we’ve experienced anywhere on our trip. It felt personal, genuine, and heartfelt — exactly what makes dining memorable.

This place is a must-visit during your Luxor day tours. If you’re looking for great food, impeccable service, and an experience that makes you feel truly welcomed, Paris Restaurant is it. We’ll be recommending it to...

Review from an American who doesn’t branch out on tons of authentic foods such as foods in Egypt…

I thought the food was decent. The service was crazy fast. We met here as a tour group and they were definitely hosting other tour groups and wow they were fast and efficient. The minute you’re out of rice, they will bring you rice. The way they served the food, to make it easy, was you get family style rice, vegetables, and a couple of salads as sides. Then you order your main meat. The shawarmas were great. I did not try the regular chicken or beef.

I definitely wasn’t into the eggplant or spinach stuff. I heard from others that they were bitter. I just didn’t want to mess up my taste buds…but the rice, tomato vegetable stuff, and chicken shawarma are what I would get if I were to come back. You can also ask for naan/pita.

The staff was nice and the prices were reasonable. Would I recommend this place? As a tourist who doesn’t branch out on super authentic foods but want to try something from Egypt. Yes.

I thought the inside of the place was cute. I read some reviews saying it was gross…well…if you have been to other parts of Egypt, this place felt very nice...

When it comes to this Egyptian restaurant, I must say that I am very impressed! Their menu is diverse, featuring many classic Egyptian dishes such as roasted pigeon, grilled meat, stewed vegetables, and more.Firstly, let me talk about their roasted pigeon. Each pigeon is perfectly roasted, with crispy skin and tender meat, complemented by special spices, making it incredibly delicious! Additionally, their grilled meat is equally impressive, with juicy and flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned, making it a top choice for meat lovers.Furthermore, their stews are also a highlight. Whether it's meat stewed in tomato sauce, vegetable stew, or bean stew, they showcase the chefs' exquisite skills and dedication to cooking with quality ingredients. Each dish exudes a rich aroma that is sure to whet your appetite. In addition to the delicious food, the restaurant's ambiance is also very pleasant and inviting, with friendly and attentive servers, making the entire dining experience perfect. Overall, this is a restaurant that I would highly recommend to friends and family. If you want to experience authentic Egyptian cuisine, you definitely shouldn't miss out...

I liked food. Very amazing Egyptian food. I recommend who search for best frensh and Egyptian restaurant food in luxor city. It is nice to have an Egyptian lunch after a long journey from Hurghada by bus or minibus to the ancient city of Luxor. I liked the tourist attractions but I am annoyed by the children selling in the streets and trying to gain the affection of visitors. I visited the restaurant on the second floor and it was not crowded at first. At exactly two o'clock in the afternoon it started to get crowded around me. Its location is special between the farms and trees before going to see the statues of Memnon. Very delicious Egyptian meals and dishes were served with the taste of the people of Luxor, southern Egypt. Pottery plates with Egyptian rice, meat, chicken, kofta, salad and bread, especially the sun bread that was made in the era of the Pharaohs in ancient Egypt. Then mineral water and soft drinks. I ordered coffee that was not good because it was cooked quickly over high heat. Good luck

We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of our driver. He probably is familiar with this place. The concept is very easy at such restaurants. You pay between 250-300 LE and you have a very small menu, because all the food is prepared on beforehand to serve big groups coming from the touringcars as quick as possible. Mostly you get a lot of food, directly served at your table at arrival. Drinks are commonly very expensive. You can choose between a vegetarian dish, grilled chicken or simmered beef. It comes with vegetables, rice and bread. The taste is good and the portions very big. The views from the rooftop are great too. I can recommend going here, although you should not forget the high prices they charge for the drinks!
