Tours was a nice place to stop and visit between events. The staff was kind and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. We brought much of our own food but we ordered drinks and tea which was delicious. There is free Wi-Fi here as well. The outdoor seating area was well constructed and clean with enough seating for forty or so people. Across the road are the Colossi of Memnon which were nearly destroyed in an ancient earthquake. The Colossi once “sang” at dawn and dusk and the sound had many ancient explanations but was likely due to the temperature differential at those hours moving air thorough cracks in the facade. This all came to an end when a visiting Roman Caesar “honored” the statues by giving them a facelift. The repair immediately stopped the singing but the Greek name associated with one of the explanations associated with Agamemnon stuck, so they remain...

A Gift to the West!! This is the very best restaurant in all of Luxor, fabulous food, beautifully presented, delicious flavours, you can't imagine how good this is!

Exactly what we needed on the West side, lovely atmosphere, nice seating, soft jazz music, amazing menu, Egyptian and Western dishes, fantastic presentation, large portions, good prices, just heavenly.

Thank you to Hassan, the host and chief chef of Memnon Restaurant, for opening his restaurant to our side of Luxor :) :) Hassan is our Gift to the West and we are so blessed.

Highly recommended, located directly across from the famous Colossi of Memnon statues, this is a new open air restaurant, located on the second floor overlooking the Theban Mountains of the Valley of the Kings.

Serves delicious drinks, including alcoholic beverages. Come alone, in pairs or bring your friends and see what the new rage...

Beautiful tasting food, however the chicken was very small compared to the size of the meal. See picture. They did forget to bring some of the order which we had to wait for, so the whole meal is not on the picture as we had to wait. . But overall tasty! And the location is great

Recommended. ( there are two menmon resturants by different owners very close so ensure your going the correct one, this resturant is directly opposite the statue. The other is called new menmom up the road...

This was the best place in all of Egypt to eat lunch. Very pleasant setting - great atmosphere for hearty conversation with excellent food and clean restrooms. Owner very attentive and allowed me to take picture. The plate of appetizer with white cheese salad, babaghanoug and hummus with herbs was a must have. Skip the lemon cake because it’s tasteless. The fruit salad is a mixture of whole fresh fruits-apple, pear, orange, and banana. We each had the fish, chicken, and vegetable tangene which
