Anas EL Demeshky (مطعم انس الدمشقى) — Restaurant in Cairo

I ordered delivery and one of the meals came wrong it was a whole other meal different than the one I ordered. Sadly I already paid the delivery guy and he left before I could discover the mistake. Ironically the meal has the receipt with the correct order tapped on the wrong meal. I called customer service and told them about the mistake and they just said they will contact the branch and the branch will contact me. For 2 hours the branch would never contact me and I had to call customer service 5 times to try and solve my problem. They ended up saying they will send the correct meal & I should return back the wrong one and it still took them 1 hour to deliver with no contact from the branch and even the branch number customer service gave me wouldn't answer. No compensation nothing at all just wasted 3 hours in inconvenience and anger because of their mistake so I would think twice before...

The food is amazing. I always eat from them. At first they weren't that noticable, but then they improved a lot in comparison to the other Syrian restaurants in the area. Oh and I can never forget that delicious ice creamy tomeyya, no restaurant or any place does better tomeyya like Anas. The tomeyya is just this good and this well made mashAllah. Also, the place is really clean and tidy. You can see the employees and chiefs working while your wait for your order. They are fast somehow. However, the delivery is so slow. I waited before about 3 hours, they improved a little bit though last time was only just 30 minutes, which is cool. Maybe because we are in Winter? I don't know. Nonetheless, this is easily a 5 star restaurant. Keep moving forward, guys. You have a constant customer right...

You have to struggle to find a place to park your car within 100 meters. The stair to the next floor where you can sit is very narrow, steep and crowded with customers and servers. The tables are arranged in a crowded way without the minimum privacy. The only view available is the busy street ( only two tables). The rest are confined in the limited dinning area. The food is less than average which completely doesn't match the price. I ordered a take away cheese pies first thing to be ready when I leave after dining. But after 45 minutes they weren't ready and they started arguing that I have to wait another 30 minutes because the cheese pies take so long to prepare and that I don't have an idea how they are done.
