Dining at Arirang feels like being warmly welcomed into a cozy home in Seoul. From the very first bite, it’s clear this isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. The noodles are silky and flavorful, the rice dishes perfectly seasoned, and the kimbap? An absolute delight — fresh, balanced, and packed with love. Their tteokbokki offers that perfect kick of spice with the chewy rice cakes cooked to perfection, while the meats are juicy, and grilled just right. Don’t even get me started on the kimchi and salads — crisp, refreshing, and bursting with authentic Korean flavor. What truly sets Arirang apart is not just the food, but the heart behind it. The owner is incredibly sweet and attentive, going above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The staff are kind, professional, and attentive, making the whole experience feel like a warm family gathering. Honestly, everything was 10/10 — a true chef’s kiss. If you're in Maadi and craving an unforgettable Korean meal, Arirang is a must-visit. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Nestled close to Maadi, this gem shines as the epitome of Korean culinary excellence. Delight in exquisite dishes that marry authenticity and affordability flawlessly. Hailing from South Korea, the devoted family behind this culinary haven has graced Egypt's taste buds for almost three decades. Their homemade kimchi is a testament to tradition and craftsmanship. Step inside to find a modest setting, devoid of ostentation but exuding a certain charm. The focus here is unequivocally on the gastronomic experience. Authenticity permeates every corner, drawing a predominantly Korean clientele seeking a taste of home. Language barriers fade as the gracious owners communicate in Arabic with a touch of English. Their warm hospitality is unmatched, ensuring each guest feels like family in every visit. Immerse yourself in the aromas of sizzling delights while savoring the rare treat of pork dishes and local beer alongside your meal. It's not just a dining experience; it's a culinary journey to Korea's heartland.

Very casual Korean restaurant in Maadi. In terms of authenticity this is probably one of the best options in Cairo, the owners are literally Korean and the majority of their customers are Asian. The service was great. Not that the place was necessarily dirty, but cleanliness could definitely be improved. Personally I really enjoyed the korean barbecue, they’re generous with the side dishes and the teokbokki was good. The kimchi fried rice wasn’t bad but it had a slightly burnt flavor and the japchae was seasoned well but overcooked. Generally I had a pleasant experience.

It was a very delightful experience. Despite that the aesthetic of the place is a bit old and worn out, the food and service was top class. The menu variety was very big and there are some hidden items in the menu if you ask for them. We ordered tokbogi and kimbab and iced buckwheat noodles for a start! And they were beyond delicious 😋 then some beef and pork belly grill, which was very exciting and yummy at the same time. The owner came to our table and did the whole thing for us which was Mesmerizing at the same time. The food quality and variety was beyond our expectations which made up for anything else! We loved the whole experience and would...
